I totally agree with you on the motherboard! I have the ASRock Conroe1333 motherboard and wow its limited! It can only support 667mhz ddr2 ram, which is pretty slow now, and only the early DUAL core core2s (I have E6320 at clock speed of 1.86x2) and it sucks! goddamnit! I wish I could have a Quad like you (or preferrably a Q9400) and faster ram of at least 800mhz. I have 9800GT too :P

@117buster in almost every retail computer there is single or multiple "bottle necks", so it doesn't matter how good graphics card you put in it. By building your own computer you can easily match every part to the wanted performance so that there isn't any weak links. And yes, it's fun to assemble computers as spanster90 said before :)
