I really want an iPhone 3GS. I have an 8GB iPhone 3G on ups 4.2.1 and it is S-L-O-W although I love it so much. Upgrade is this October. Can't wait lol.

i have iphone 3gs and a week ago i upgraded the 5.0.1 and it runs good on the phone

the only problem is the yourtube i cant download videos and watch them on the iphone.

its still good!!! Walleby1 is right! it does make the iPhone 3GS like a new phone. For the people who like to buy or upgrade the phone, 3yrs plan with it doesnt that bad, why? cuz after 3 years the old iphone will not be able to upgrade to better iOS then thats mean u have to let it go & move on :)

god my 3gs in lagging on this new ios, to be honest with you, i think it's best to upgrade from 3gs to 4s. But from the ios 5, i love the imessage. apart from that, nothing much changed expect for the notification, which is not that fascinating. I will change to 4s in a month because i'm running out of memory on the 3gs, and it's time to get a new phone after two years :D but still have big love for the 3gs :D nice video by the way.

if iphone 3/3gs/4 owners want to try out the siri functionality, the closest and best app would be vlingo. Its free too. However, I personally think that the iphone 4s is very disappointing as that it is only a small improvement over the iphone 4. @rashers45 everybody's opinions differ and just to point it out, nokia's n8 is actually pretty nice as is the samsung s2. There is almost no point in arguing about the best smartphone as they are taking ideas from one another and are quite similar.

I was so disappointed when I bought my iPhone 3GS, only for the iPhone 4 to come out a week later. Don't get me wrong, I love my iphone(exept the lower signal compared to the iPhone 4) and because I'm on a two year contract I still can't update till May next year!!! :-(

iCloud allows you 5gb free. So how many songs & pics & movies does that come out to? Does anyone know. i want to get an iPhone 4s but the Google cloud allows for 20,000 songs in their cloud for free. Should I stay with android or will iCloud give me more storage for free than Google? (P.S. I haven't figured out how much storage 20k songs translates to in gb of free storage.)

IOS5 is a useless update for iPad...i got an iPad with the hope of iOS 5 being its saving grace. I'm really sorry I didnt get an Android tablet now. I like Apple products and am a proud owner of a MacBook Pro and Various iPods, however iOS just doesnt do it for me and the iPad feels like a restricted device. Eg. I can't even change the OS (as of yet) without the fear of bricking my €500 device...that sucks serious balls.

nope ios 5 along with the out dated hardware does not interest me at all. The outdated hardware is still small on the display size, and the dual core is old news, the camera updte is no big deal, siri is not a big deal, icloud should have been done already old news, retina disply is old news so iphone 4s is a huge disappointment. O ya ios looks alot like android now. It goes to show that apple is behind the 8 ball, is no longer the leader.

Another trick I found in the iOS update. In camera app. You can swipe to the left to view previous photos taken. To go back to the camera app, swipe from left to right until you reach camera app.

The 3GS is a very fast phone! iOS 5 does seem a little laggy, and I hope Apple will correct this problem. At least it's not like iOS 4 on the iPhone 3G! Now think about how iOS 5 would be on a 2G/3G iPhone; so slow that it may as well be a brick.

@braddudeguy Oh, it's nothing like the iPhone 4 launch. I was there at the iPhone 4 launch when there were thousands lined up at a mall to get the iPhone 4. 4S? Apple prepared much better for the 4S launch. I went into the Apple Store on the 4S' launch with my friend who wanted one. We literally showed up at 4p.m. and walked out with a 4S for him. And from what I seen at that Apple Store, they were selling more Sprint 4S than anything else.
