I remember about 2 years ago I though of making a season that brought back digi destine from other seasons to fight a time traveling digimon called Neonmon who could control technology and electricity. And another one that was an angel lord called Deusmon, who knew magic and brings back old dead villains in new forms. Like Nightmare Myotismon, Jestermon (piedmon evolved), and Apocalymon Shadow Lord Mode. So yeah those 2 bad guys fuse to Anomalymon. And the good guys also had new evolutions.

Japanese Digimon songs have more meaning than the US ones. I prefer the Japanese ones best, as they have different songs for different seasons [US version only have 3 so far (4, if they dub Xros Wars), but Japanese version got 9 ops in total], and more epic compare to the dub. I was so enjoying Digimon back in my own country (as the translation was from JP version), then when I came to Europe (during Tamers) and saw the US version, I was shocked how much they changed the dialogues and the songs!

@vixen581 All Pokémon ever had going for it was the games, and MAYBE the TCG. They've even started going down hill as of late. The anime was always crap though IMO.

That said though, Pokémons appeal lasted longer than Digimons. I only truly enjoy the first series, maybe two of the Digimon anime, and the first Digimon world for the PS1. It's disappointing I think how fast it went downhill.
