@protosaber363 The way the writer interpreted his appearance in the games, his gliding ability in particular, was that he could fly, superman style. I think the hat had something to do with confusing him with Nack the Weasel or just because he thought it looked cool(it does). and the idea of him being a Mole probably come from his digging ability in Adventure, but that game specifically calls him an Echidna, so I don't know.

I like this movie because it's its own story but it still takes place back in the Classic Era. Unlike Sonic SatAM and Sonic Underground, this movie was based off the games continuity (for the most part), and it does it better than Sonic X.

You know, about a year ago, I watched another anime movie that I used to watch all the time when I was little: Tekken the Motion Picture...To be totally honest, watching it again made me realize just how...utterly bad it was. <:( It was kinda sad.

But watching this again after 11 years...Just...wow, this movie still manages to feel fresh and new. I mean, for one thing, the voice acting actually FITS perfectly somehow. It just goes to show how even after 20 years, legends never die.

To explain the error better: His shoes have buckles, but his eyes aren't greend. So this version has to be inbetween Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic

One thing wrong with this is that Sonic's shoes have the buckles on them like he currently does, but his eyes are the same as they were at the beginning (meaning just black).
