Its called double exposure. You finish one roll of film, wind it and the take pictures with the same roll again. Hence the overlapped image.

how do you get the sprocket out of the film canister when you're done? do i take it out just before it goes back into the canister or do i hook it out somehow cause on my camera it goes right back in when i finish the roll

@jiniton I recommend bringing your camera to wherever you get it developed. Have them show you how to rewind the film and then have them show you how to take it out. I'm sure they'll be helpful. Because I can't fully understand your question.
