this looks like a glitch, not a secret. It's the same level as Laruba's but with the Rover's background and no enemies. In Battletoads there is also a glitch in level 9 you jump from the beginning and then all enemies disappear but you can't proceed any further.

It's not a glich is real..just kneel by the lake and have the blue cristal activate...that's all and the earth will replenish:)

The only castlevania game that I played so far is the Castlevania 64 for the N64 which is pretty chalenging yet fun. Not the original for the NES system...

You enter it by actually exploiting a glitch. It looks like designers made those levels and then forgot to include them in the final release of the game, like if they were running out of time or something.

The "secret mansion" is just parts from another existing mansion (I forget the name, it's either the last or second-to-last mansion you go through) but without the enemies. So no new level design, but a neat glitch anyway.
