  • @PATHH88 Cross SC

  • This form was ahead of it's time like the shit in 83 - 85 was.

  • Damn seems like someone has their finger on the fast forward button on the time machine, good lord I can't believe it's been 20 years already....................jeez!!

  • SO FLAWLESS!!

  • 89 man, i still really like the anatomy of the dance music from back then, so dynamic and fresh. in all that time so much has changed but i always enjoy listening to these old cuts

  • i think some parts of this when their in the club were taped at the old "save the robots" club on avenue b in nyc.

  • yes looks just like robots in manhatten that was a dope place, i used to walk outta that place at 12 noon the next day

  • Man these were my Jr. High years..

Sometimes I miss the 80's so much it hurts...especially as I remember the landscape of hip hop, hell black music in general vs this wack, ignorant, unintelligent & unoriginal B.S. we're inundated with today..

  • Well said

  • True dat.

  • One of the best hip-house tracks ever. Two notes + drum machine = bliss. Peace.

  • Yes along with Fast Eddie...

  • For Those Who Like To GroovFor Those Who Like To Groove e For Those WhFor Those Who Like To Groove o Like To GroovFor Those Who Like To Groove e For Those Who LiFor Those Who Like To Groove ke To Groove

  • also Coati Mundi(Andy Hernandez)from Kid Creole & the Coconuts @ the end of the vid :D

  • @tjinsd I thought that as well. Good spot.

  • Had lots of fun shooting this clip when I managed Twin Hype for Centerfield Productions. Props to RICHARD BELTZER (Law & Order SVU)for appearing in this video...He likes to groove...also the late talk show host, Joe Franklin who also appeared in this clip>>>>C.O.D.

  • Although it's spelled Belzer. Peace.

  • Funny, for all these years I thought the other guy was Jackie Mason! Peace.

  • Huge in the clubs back in the day... these guys should've been huge.

  • You're right these guys should of been huge...so underrated They were cutting edge hip hop artists way ahead of their time!

  • III loove house music. It's non-exsistant now, sadly. Such a small play on techno today. Unfortunately...techno has not made it's leap to paying tribute to those tracks that have made techno big today. : ( Twin hype...and The jungle brother with the ,"Girl I'll house you song", have made it's mark in techno today.

Although, newer generations dont recognize that fact. Idiots. You are not new, fools. We've been here before. RECOGNIZE your history!!!!!

  • amen, brother

  • Comment removed

  • @dollarsaremine You're wrong.

  • piss off

  • So clueless! Know your history, or go listen to Soulja Boy. *barfs* Peace.

  • Soulja Boy is the worse of the worse...Today's "rap" music is so bad that nobody should listen to it.

  • @BJSteigner I ALMOST GOT SUCKED IN BY THAT YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU JOINT. BUT REALIZED I POISONED MY SELF SO I WAS REVIVED MYSELF WITH THE ANTI VENOM OLD SCHOOL TO REALIZE NEVER TO TOUCH WACK EVER AGAIN.

  • i remember this 12 inch had an accapella as its intro.... shake that ass & bounce those tits ?!..thats some of the words i remember...& it ended sayin

"& if ya didnt come to dance...then what the fuck did you come for"....?!?a madd beat starts, then after 16 bars,it turns house-beat.

    late 80s twin hype...stil love it !

  • maan this is the first time i seen the video, i didnt grow up with cable... thanks for the video, i had this tape and played it every day, still know the words to this song!

  • sergioalonzo, back then this was still considered hip hop. It was hot at a time when club music and rap was at it high or on it's way there. If you look at the dances in this video that was style back then, very border line but still considered hip hop playa.

  • Tough house beats making me chair dance!

  • always one of my faves back then . .

  • Ahhh shit! brings back memories. Thanks for posting.

  • thrilling music from back in the day! "I just love this house tracking..89's the year, house music is in your ear....home girls looking pretty, from all around the city...For those who like to groove, can you hear the party out there!"

  • This isn't rap, hip hop, nor country music...this is HOUSE MUSIC...COUNT..B.P.S......B-SIDE

  • this is the version they would play on dance party usa.....my favorite....so hot!

  • I used to dance for them when they did there live shows. At that time I was a Junior in High School.

  • Are you from Newark?

  • Yeah man. They used to call me E-rock.

  • yes they are.

  • I was so waiting for this track! Thanks.

  • I love this shit..bought the album in 90 and lost it in a move. Never could find it again. Sweet link, thanks.

  • this is real hip hop...no doubt

  • Hip-house, not hip-hop, my brotha. Peace.

  • Yeah and it kicks azz!

  • Hell yeah!!! That's me.... I like to grooove.

  • Oh yeah i forgot de la soul, and nice and smooth, jungle brothers, tribe called quest and plenty more, the rap they did wasnt about money and rims and guns

  • don't forget about pimp'n hoes, sex, and drugs

  • Oh yeah that too

  • 50 cent, kanye,suck all new rap sucks-bring back Public Enemy,twin hype,7A3 3rd bass,kmd,eric b,biz markie,and the rest

  • Twin Hype were a cool group but they weren't no where near BDP,PE,EPMD,Rakim or 3rd Base Status. They were probably equivalent to Super Luva C and Casonava Rud.

  • GIRLS I GOT'EM LOCKED!

  • this help me remember when high school was about having fun!! not all this high school shooting bullshit today!!!Kids today don't know what their missing

  • this shit is dope, even today.

    "home girls lookin' pretty

    from all around the city"

they don't make 'em like this anymore

  • That took me back, way back all kinds of good house memories. The chicks were dressed in fashion and so were the fellas.Crus do'n thier club dance. Damm, I hope someone can invent a time mashing soon. Damm!
