THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH, for holding the line against liberals in congress who want to incrementally socialize our health care system.
A government takeover of health care is NOT THE ANSWER. Just ask the people from Canada and England who TRAVEL TO THE US just to get basic care! Ask the European families who have watched LOVED ONES DIE while waiting in line for care!
poor people? who are you talking about? The recent 'increase' to the already existing program which covers poor people would call poor people those who make over 60k/year. Since when is that considered poor? The US already covers poor people under the existing program. Why would anybody want to increase it to those levels of income - they can pay their own way - just like I do on my pittence.
I wish you libs could understand how silly you sound with your hysterical rhetoric.
First, since when do poor people "die" in the US? Our laws forbid hospitals from turning away people who can't pay. The biggest health problem "the poor" have in this country is OBESITY.
Second, the goal is to protect the QUALITY of care while providing better options for the poor. Having the government take over health care is not the right answer---it's the recipe for disaster.
Thanks Louisville!!!! This really did my heart good! Keep it up, patriots! That we don't have the money is a lie from the pit of hell! Children, yes. Bush's occupation, NO!
If the Republicans didn't have religionesque rhetoric and religionesque policy, people wouldn't vote for them. They've got nothing for the average person. Absolutely nothing.
get a job!!

What's YOUR proposal to achieve a country where people don't die becasue they are poor?
IN the richest country on earth, people bitch and moan because their tax dollars might go to help sick people get better, rather than blowing them up.
OUr Founding Fathers would be ashamed.

Yeah! I can't afford my own health care, but the US Gov can find more money - yeah mine!

You irrational little darling, if the health plans were implemented, you COULD afford your health care.

thank you Kentuckians for speaking out on an issue which is a slap in the face from bush to america's children.
Our children are the most precious resource we have and the Iraq war is bleeding us to death for oil we should have weened ourselves off of years ago.
Total hypocrisy.
When are we going to put an end to this blatant abuse of power?
No children 'not' left behind!
