My parents divorced five years ago and it has been emotionally taxing to watch my parents become walking shells of themselves. They were in a loveless marriage for over 15 years and when they finally divorced, it was a relief. At first, I was against them remarrying but after soo many years, I started praying to Allah to help them find a good person who will make them happy. lo and behold, my parents find their future spouses at the same time. They are much happier now thanks to ALLAH.
That woman's story about debt gave me goosebumps. The same thing happened to me with my college tuition. During the past summer, I had very little financial aid and I prayed to God every night to help me and my dad pay off my tuition. when i went to the financial aid office, the lady said that I didn't have to pay for that year. I felt as if a giant rock was taken off my shoulders. When my dad and I left the office, I couldn't breathe, I just kept thanking Allah profusely.
