What? thoughtseize is not as good as Encroach? Thoughtseize gets rid of aethervials and a whole mess of stuff. Encroach only grabs nonbasic lands. Yes grabbing a wasteland is good. but wouldnt you rather steal a vindicate? or a burning wish? what about a charbelcher?
I like the deck, it's cool. I would add more fetch-lands, skip the Ports for Verdant Catacombs. I would also try too get a few basic lands in there, right now Blood Moon would kill your entire deck.
Otherwise it's cool. You could try replacing Eternal Witness with Hymn To Tourach or Sinkhole.
If lifeloss wasn't a problem I would also switch Exalted Angel for Tombstalker, but if you feel that they're necessary the keep the angels
hmmm...I'd try wasteland instead of ports, try some more fetches and basics (for path to exile and wasteland) in place of some duals. try out loxodon heirarch, he's great at getting life back, and maybe doran for fast beats. I would also try 1 main board maelstrom pulse. i agree with tylerwylie
If you have problems with burn, you should run loxodon heirarch. He's a 4/4 beater for 2GW and he gains you 4 life when he comes into play. Easy wish target game 1. I'd actually maindeck them over eternal witness, and I'd run 4 wastelands over ports. Plus.. That circle of protection red being a single that you can't fetch seems suboptimal. To get more use out of your board, you could try story circle, if you can support the white.

Maindeck 3 Wastelands and a Life From the Loam. Maybe Dark Confidant over Night's Whisper. Therapy over Duress. C.O.P. Red's not a Wish target. Find a better answer for Burn. I see what your saying but heres a list of what i play against. Solidarity, Landstill, Burn, Survival, and Painter. I dont plan on playing in any huge tourneys just me and my friends.
Rishadan port is pretty underpowered in this deck. I would suggest 3x wasteland main and basic land against nonbasic hate. I rarely see 4 deed as you really dont want to draw too many. I also think kitchen finks has a place in this deck especially after you take out duress for the much better cabal therapy. Maybe -2 angel, -1 deed, -1 living wish, +4 Kitchen Finks.
