  • oh my goodness... i would go hard on this track

  • the last year of the Garage ... Larry played a longer, trippier edit ... I remember Kym would scream, "so what you gonna do, Baby" ...

  • OMG GOING CRAZY THIS WAS MY SHIT.........LARRY LEVAN USE TO MIX THIS 4 ABOUT 45 MIN'S STRAIGHT....LORD HAVE MERCY...MISS THE 80'S

  • can't believe this is '87 .. whhaaaaaat?!!! early chicago house rules!

  • It's hard not to review this track. Kym Mazelle's voice is just magical. It was hard to keep this jam off the turntable as well. The soulfulness, the melody, the groove, aw man this is just a serious classic I'd play it right with the grooves of today. I'm a fan of Kym and always will be. She had me thinking she was singing to me when I copped this jam. I still love this record today. "House 4 Life!!!"

  • beautiful melody, i will add this to my playlist 1980s disco hip house, awesome tune, 5 stars

  • hypnotic track. But i just read that it was produced by Mashall Jefferson ? for real ?

  • @nanobeatz

Yep...Marshall Jefferson produced this track :)

  • @nanobeatz: I had this in my collection. I wish I never got rid of it. That bassline is not only hypnotic but the seductive voice makes the song. If she sang it with too much high strung emotion it might have destroyed the song.

  • Jeff Young on Radio 1... fierce!

  • I lived and grew up in Portsmouth England and used to get all this stuff from a lesser known Dj called Jeff Young who later worked on BBC radio1 before any other dance stations were even invented. My mates would think I was mad at the time for listening to this - but time has told the tale and these were classics then and remain to this day. Please reafresh DO NOT stop. Thanks.

  • Hi there!

Thank you for the kind comment...appreciate it!

Yeah, I remember Jeff Young from when he used to do his ' Big Beat ' Radio show on BBC Radio 1 in the late '80's! I wonder what he is doing now?

And don't worry...I am never gonna stop!!!!

    Cheers for subscribing :)

    Take it easy mate,

    Leon

  • That's not exactly true, i heard very little dance music on radio 1 before 1991, stations like kiss/capital...etc were leading the way years before radio 1 even considered doing specialist dance music shows
