More of the egg was sticking out for the pellets shots than for the BB shots.

And yes, Daisy should stick a giant notice on the Red Ryder that it is NOT meant for hunting. There's nothing sporting, ethical or humane about shooting a bird repeatedly with a low-power BB gun. But people (mostly kids) keep trying it and then declaring that "The Red Ryder sucks!" when they can't kill an animal with one shot. The *parents* of those kids need a spanking.

gamo guns= pos. if gamo decided to put time into actually researching and developing quality guns rather than thinking of gimmicky marketing strategies, then maybe their products wouldn't choke monkey nuts.

@Chopslord well not exactly. some of their guns are actually useful. NONE of their guns get to what the advertisements say, but the Big Cat is a great beginner gun, the Whisper is a good hunter even if it isn't as quiet as they said it is, and the Hunter Extreme is still a good medium game hunter. you should NEVER take hogs out with it, but still it is a good hunter.

gamo does make tons of gimmicks and sucks you in with their outrageous claims, but the product is not a complete piece of garbage

dude, this is crazy. gamo's are for like taking down foxes and small game, i have a red ryder, and it only shoots 350fps and it couldnt even kill a toad at point blank if i shot one. oh and i like the nintendo music in the backround.

i don't think there should be much comparing between the two. they are 2 completely different air rifles. the Gamo is meant as a sporting air rifle that can hunt small game, and is an airgun equivalent of a .22 rimfire except that it's only in .177. it should be accurate out to 50 yards +. the Red Ryder is a target BB gun that is made for teaching youths how to shoot. it's recommended to be shot at only 5 yards, which is 10x less than the Gamo. they are 2 completely different catagories.

in england where i live, u have to get a gun licence for any firearm or airgun over 12 foot pounds. or a shotgun licence which lets u only have shotguns but only farmers have gun here. i have airgun but live in the town. i guess the USA and canada everyone has a gun. =]
