Aww, this is what my baby used to do, Terry. He would look at himself in the mirror and wolf-whistle. He would also do it when I let him sit on my shower bar while I was showering. He loved the hot air, and would clean himself. Then he'd bite me. I still loved the little guy though. <3

My grandma has two bird like these. Sunny, and Share.... We dont know if they are male or female... well, Sunny has orange spots on his cheeks... I had a Cockatiel named "Vincent" that I got when my Grandpa died in rememberance because he loved those birds. I let one go by accident when I was a little girl, and then my sister let Vincent go by accident too! I guess what goes around comes around! It broke my heart. You have to spend ALOT of time with them! Make sure their wings are trimmed(by a VET!) so they don't fly up (they will be able to fly across and down) talk to them and whistle alot and repetitively. They love to have their heads scratched. right behind their orange spots on their faces (where their ears are).

NO WING TRIMMING! Birds are meant to fly. Wing clipping is animal abuse. It forces birds to live as cripples. In the free nature birds can have the whole sky if they want to. Humans, who hold birds as pets, should make a animal-fair life for them possible. First step is to make the house birdie-proof, cover windows and mirrors with a curtain or something else and train the birdies to fly inside the house.

@linnieworld everything you've said is true, but if you want to tame your bird and teach him the basics of talking, singing, playing, doing tricks, ect... than it's a lot easier to tame him/her because they cant fight back as hard by flapping there wings at you and flying at you so you can approach them with ease.
