Lots of good parents that have the means to care for a child want to adopt, but they can't because too many kids are getting aborted. And, since there aren't enough kids, the fees to adopt are through the roof, and good parents have to jump through hoops just to adopt. I have a clear conscience. My children are my #1 priority and they know it. I am pro choice for other woman but never had an abortion. I belief that children born in poverty in this children are a shared responsibily and we need to kick in via our taxes for their health care, welfare, etc.

What actually raises self esteem is when people work hard and succeed. So raise the standards in the education system, stop making children mindless drones who will blindly obey, and actually teach them to think for themselves. Oh, and allow people to have their own opinions and ideas. Allowing people to think is what allows people to move forward in life. For all of your talk about a "true agenda," you've failed to realize that the "true agenda" would help conservatives more than liberals, because we would cut pregnancy rates significantly. Married young people tend to be democrats too, especially poor ones, with kids, who need diapers.
Actually, neither form of sex education is working. If you knew anything you would know that. See, both forms of sex education leave out a huge chunk of information. They either tell you that sex doesn't exist, or they pass out condoms and abstinence isn't even an option. Until both sides are willing to compromise and combine their efforts the pregnancy rate among teenagers will remain the same. Oh, and the south has a higher teen birth rate, not necessarily a higher teen pregnancy rate.

No, that's not really the case at all. Abstinence is always "an option," the point is that it isn't abstinence only, and the emphasis is that if you're going to do it, you should have access to contraceptives and condoms along with information concerning what condoms do and do not protect against.
I have lived in a conservative and a liberal state. Abstinence is not an option in liberal states, because they assume that you're just going to have sex anyways, and in the conservative states they won't discuss condoms or birth control at all. Either way, you're left getting half the information. On one side your condemned for having sex, on the other you're condemned for abstaining. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I would disagree with anybody who has condemned abstaining, and I haven't actually heard of that as being part of any comprehensive sex education. But, if that is the case, I would agree that abstinence should be considered an option.
Comprehensive sex ed should include all of the major options. Then again, assuming the kids are going to have sex anyways isn't that far off, but it's not like they're forced to have sex or it's seriously presented as the only option.
But, I will agree that neither form of sex education is a fail-safe or an end all. There are cultural differences between ourselves and Europe which correlate positively with these issues aside from sex education, so no, I wouldn't pretend that that's the total solution.

Lots of good parents that have the means to care for a child want to adopt, but they can't because too many kids are getting aborted. And, since there aren't enough kids, the fees to adopt are through the roof, and good parents have to jump through hoops just to adopt. I know, because I have seen good parents do those things because they really wanted to have kids but they couldn't.

I have a clear conscience. My children are my #1 priority and they know it. I am pro choice for other woman but never had an abortion. I belief that children born in poverty in this children are a shared responsibily and we need to kick in via our taxes for their health care, welfare, etc.

Actually, neither form of sex education is working. If you knew anything you would know that. See, both forms of sex education leave out a huge chunk of information. They either tell you that sex doesn't exist, or they pass out condoms and abstinence isn't even an option. Until both sides are willing to compromise and combine their efforts the pregnancy rate among teenagers will remain the same. Oh, and the south has a higher teen birth rate, not necessarily a higher teen pregnancy rate.

No, that's not really the case at all. Abstinence is always "an option," the point is that it isn't abstinence only, and the emphasis is that if you're going to do it, you should have access to contraceptives and condoms along with information concerning what condoms do and do not protect against.

I have lived in a conservative and a liberal state. Abstinence is not an option in liberal states, because they assume that you're just going to have sex anyways, and in the conservative states they won't discuss condoms or birth control at all. Either way, you're left getting half the information. On one side your condemned for having sex, on the other you're condemned for abstaining. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I would disagree with anybody who has condemned abstaining, and I haven't actually heard of that as being part of any comprehensive sex education. But, if that is the case, I would agree that abstinence should be considered an option.
Comprehensive sex ed should include all of the major options. Then again, assuming the kids are going to have sex anyways isn't that far off, but it's not like they're forced to have sex or it's seriously presented as the only option.
