As soon as I heard Republican Alexander's point, I think he makes perfect sense, logical and entirely valid. It's not about slowing it down, it's simply about understanding it further before voting for it. I don't see though why they set the deadline by Christmas. What's a few more days to review it? They all look tired too. This certainly bypasses legislative process, and it's foolish to rush something as magnanimous as this one.
