i have the power hooked up to my ps3, and im using a cable (YUV) that is used for my ps2 slim for picture. the picture doesnt come up for the ps3 on the tv...any ideas??

Not really that special? man it is a cinema room, your setup looks tight... Small cinema room or a million dollar cinema room, at the end of the day it is still a cinema room, some people might have a large house but there are no rooms to set up a cinema.... I'm getting a house built with a dedicated cinema room. mine is roughly your size but a little bit wider, should be finished around July 2011, I can't wait.... 120" screen I have ready with in-wall dvd storage for 360, PS3, Wii and Blu etc.

I have a SONY Bluray player which have HDMI output's and there's where my 5.1 speakers connected to. Can I use HDMI from PS3 to that Bluray, then 2nd cable from that Bluray which say ARC something to TV.

If I do this will I get that 5.1 surround sound from my PS3?

What I do is I connect TV to my Bluray (thats where my 5.1 speakers connected) to the ARC Out. Next, with my 2nd HDMI cable I connect PS3's HDMI out it to the Bluray Player's HDMI in.

That's what I'm going to do. I read it from the Manual Guide

@DuyAnh1 no it wont i`m afraid the ps3 sound settings wont allow 5.1 sound through HDMI. i use a optical cable and sound is crystal clear and in 5.1

@manofsteel3101 yes ps3 does support 5.1 or 7.1 hdmi audio whether is bitstreamed of through linear pcm. and btw, home theater in a box suck, terrible thd percentage and distortion as high volume levels, invest in a nice av receiver and some speakers

Don't get a screen just paint your wall and get a projector screen from best buy for as low as 300. Then google outdoor speaker depot. They have indoor and outdoor speakers they just specialize in outdoor. Look for in wall and in ceiling speakers. You can get 2 in wall ones for as low as 30. 2 in ceiling for as low as 25 and 1 center for as low as 50. Then get a standing subwoofer from bestbuy for around 100. That's about 500 bucks. Cheap and awesome!
