You try playing multi instrument set without electrical amplification. Enjoy the music and stop stroking your epeen as if you know something that other people don't.

Anyway my point is that it's an electric instrument and by definition if you add an electric instrument to an acoustic song it's by definition no longer an acoustic song.

not true. there are almost always electric basses in acoustic renditions, they provide better bottoms than any other bass instrument can, including acoustic basses.

the french horn (which is a brass instrument) is ALWAYS included in woodwind ensembles, which, by definition, should be composed only of WOODWINDS. however, it is an exception by custom.

if you're taking the raw output from the bass anyway, then why does it matter whether you use an acoustic or electric? Its basically the same sound. Now a guitar would be different (unless you are using a Piezo), but the raw bass sound and the sound from an acoustic are basically the same, at least to the audience.
