Does the download file have to be a rar? Or can it be a zip file too?

The "Do you want to install" window doesn't open for me... It just opens body shop... I tried looking for it in my game but it still doesn't show up...Should I just reinstall body shop or something..?

I don't get it, I download houses on modthesims2 and go to the sims 2 and go to one of the neighborhoods then look in the unoccupied house place and it's not there and I can't find them anywhere, If anyone knows where to find the houses that I downloaded please reply straight away, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
