He has shot a bear bow from Walmart(basically a toy) for about 6 months. He was very interested in more so we went to the local archery shop and got him the Hoyt.
The Bear was only up to about 20 pounds and was only good to about 10 yards....now he can shoot great groups at 20 yards and can continue to "grow into" the Hoyt.

well shit if you got a hoyt for your first bow its alot easier, no affense but i dont think you should be buying a begenning aerchery a really nice bow. but thats ur choice.
