  • this bbc documentary is a decent effort but there are some problems. the chief problem is that the producers decided not to use any reggae historians. in particular, i am talking about garth white, a rastafarian intellectual who wrote extensively about the music in its early days. they could have also talked to experts such as herbie miller and dermot hussey, kwame dawes, and klive walker.
