  • You are awesome Cesar. I'd love to play the guitar with you. Unfortunately, I don't own a classical guitar! :(

  • can you play iron man......?

  • nice i enjoyed it alot! :)

  • damn, good job

  • everytime i listen to this.. it reminds me of SIM 3

  • How hard was it to find a camera tripod thay reached the top of your pedistle?

  • its Stram by Tim Reynolds he sometimes played for DMB

  • Yep it's insane because it's got %0 Yeshua

when it has Yeshua , it will be considered tolerable at best.

  • That song is called "Stream" and it's by Tim Reynolds. Obviously a very difficult song to play.

  • The most awsome technical demonstration ever seen!

  • @UserHuge umm... no. terrrible actually. Usinga pick on a classical guitar is a terrible idea.

  • WOW you are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • result of hard work!

  • Impressive technique, but the song itself was rather bad.

  • funny

  • do u think i enjoyed listening to that garbage? its tasteless ahaha

  • i dig it! such a random motion of sounds combinding. 10/10

  • twas ight

  • cool

  • An example of someone who has achieved great proficiency with their instrument but have no musical talent.

  • Quite nice, if a bit misrepresented as "classical". I would really like to see this done without a pick, but godz know, even though I have been playing much longer than you, I couldn't touch it WITH one. Nice Work! I play electic and acoustic, but prefer steel for both. I find the tones cleaner. But congrats on being able to learn it.

  • solo on classical guitar not classical guitar solo

  • Awoesome

  • Thats jazz dumbass

  • I love you... Fuck

  • really? a pick?

  • @jhavins12

    why so confused about that?

  • This video it´s the most creative and original thing that I had ever heard. I am surprise that betwen your favorites guitarist isn´t Al Dimeola.

  • I do not like the chords your playin. It's like you play a continous strand of diminished and augmented chords. Diminished and augments chords work well, but only with a combination of minor and major chords (of course you do play some, just not enough of them in my opinion). Nice soloing though.

  • Nothing interesting really... sorry

  • Awesome playing....Loving it..:)

  • you should do some actual classical guitar. ud be good.

  • that is just unnessecary

  • guitarists! pls check my video

  • Great guitar player. The song is not an original. Fusion of two tunes by Sepultura from their ROOTS album. Songs are "Jasco" and "Itsari." Interesting if you check it out.

  • @brewer9969 hey there. tks for the info! the songs have some similarities yes. i'll have to listen to some sepultura's songs. cheers

  • Cool. Keep on jamming.

  • u look like joe jonas to me

  • @brewer9969 wounder if he can preform it with open hand, and twice as fast... was a slight sabicas arabian dance, contribute into the middle of the "solo". but still it's alot messed up.. sounds plastic.. the man has to preform with open hand.. (instead of with plectrum)..

  • douche'

  • dude that was awesome really sounds like avant guard mixed with al di meola style fusion if u made an album id buy it great job

  • I would love to play with you some day!

  • sir! What style of music is this? I'm trying to get into more acoustic style of playing.

  • @punch2face

hey, i honestly don't know exactly what it is. but if you are interested in acoustic guitar style i definately suggest you to look for 'fingerstyle'.

some of mine favourite acoustic guitar players are:

masaaki kishibe, masa sumide, tommy emmanuel, monte montgomery, kotaro oshio, tim reynolds, andy mckee, antoine dufour, pierre bensusan, justin king, john butler...

also flamenco is very nice although it's more usual in classic guitar

  • @cesar6luis hey im a senior in wichita falls and i took a guitar program taught by Bruce Canafax who instructs a ensemble you should look him up on youtube he teaches people all about classical guitar

  • @cesar6luis

Don't forget the godfather of fingerstyle Chet Atkins. Check out "Caravan", it's a song that Chet did with Les Paul. Soo Smooth!

  • @cesar6luis Flamenco and Classical Guitar are very, very different things.

  • @Aensgard the leg you put the guitar over for one ;-). He's closer to a flamenco position than classical and playing neither. Still sounds good though.

  • @oldmanklc No, you're wrong. Flamenco music (considering baile, cante y toque) is the folk music and culture from Andalucia, España. On the other hand the classical guitar is the repertoire created by classical composer like Sor, Aguado, Mertz, Giuliani, Brouwer, Duarte, and many others. Besides, classical and flamenco guitar have very different technique, mainly the right hand. And even though some of those composers are spanish, their music was not always related to folklore.

  • @oldmanklc Of course, there are a lot of pieces that mix those two styles. Like works by Torroba or Turina but their music is classical because of the root.

I mean "classical", referring to the style, not the musical period of Mozart and Haydn (that is anyway, part of the classical music as a style).

  • @cesar6luis how long did it take for you to play like this?

  • @punch2face This is a spanish flamenco style. This song is called stream. Performed by Tim Rynolds.

  • jesus, thats freakin fast

  • why do so many people prefer classic gutiars over normal acoustic guitars?

  • @ReTr093

i do not prefer. I just don't own an acoustic, like many people I suppose

  • @ReTr093 umm....Its playabiltiy i guess. They sound completely different. One is Nylon string one is Steel. You decide.

  • @ReTr093 i think for peoplewho play lain based stuff the solos sound better on classical, but i dont own a classical :p

  • @ReTr093 - What makes you think a steel string acoustic is "normal"?

  • @ReTr093 because it has a more pleasant tone and is generally more versatile than steel-string acoustics.

  • @ReTr093 The sound of the classical guitar is more fitting for classical music.

  • Comment removed

  • @ReTr093 They are easier to play and offer a nice warm tone.

  • @ReTr093 its the same thing... classical/acoustic

  • @buddythedog12345

    ...no it's not?

  • @ReTr093 ok, tell me the difference.

  • @ReTr093 Warmer sound and the nylon strings are extremely soft and easy on the fingers.

  • @ReTr093 Classical guitars are the concert instrument being that they have a cleaner, more natural tone as opposed to the twang of steel string guitars. Most works for guitar for the past 500 years have been made using the nylon string guitar.

  • @ReTr093 i have electric acoustic, electric, and classical. each and everyone has a a different tone and style to it. Some people prefer one style than the other. I enjoy all three sounds of style.

  • I didn't know Paco de Lucia taught others how to play..... NOT FAIR :(

    (thumbs up for sure)

  • did u use a pick?? o.O

  • @Jokerman1414

of course. I could play this without it, not even at half speed ^^

  • @cesar6luis : O well its incredible, Good job! :O

  • Niiice : D i enjoyed every second g2 learn this now : D

  • You Rock!

  • well done, keep it up... ur awesome

  • good tune, but not played with fingers...

  • omg...how long have u been playing?

  • The best playing starts at 2:00 and ends shortly after.

  • You are a charming boy. :>

  • not really insane. good, but not more

  • awesome i didnt read what this was only saw insane classical guitar!! then Ahaaa Yeah thats what it is :D tim reynolds! Nice sounds identical

  • increible!!!!

  • \m/_

  • When does the "Insane" part start?

  • Nice job

  • ESTO ES INCREIBLE!

COMO MIERD@ LO HACES!? WOWWW! :OOO

ENSENIAME A TOCAR ASI! HAY ALGUN TRUCO O ALGO????

  • Superman playing guitar?

  • very fucking impressive

  • three letters...

    1. W

    2. O

    3. W

  • OMG you are incredible! How long did it take you to memorize that?

  • @JamMastaJeremy

well.. I had several attempts to play this song. in each one of them i played a little more than the previous one, but then i would gave up and only came back to the song some months later. Finally (2 years later or so xD) I played the whole song note by note.

  • this is pretty good but i think this is more about guitar skill than real music composing

  • man your classical guitar has to been pretty low to play like this...

  • what do you mean with "low"?

  • @cesar6luis low...i mean almost touching the fret board...not as in the tuning

  • ahh. well the strings are at normal height.

  • Comment removed

  • @disconnect100 you can play your guitar how the fuck you want to ill play it with my dick if i want to! and make it sound great!

  • Comment removed

  • Not only great note choice, but beautiful playing. Awesome!

  • amazing

  • i hate not having a cutaway on a guitar that i play! BROVO DUDE!! YOU ROCK IT ON THE CLASSICAL DUDE!!!

  • Sounds like John Mclaughlin-ish

  • Think u can do it on eletric??

  • nice nice nice very nice

  • good tim reynolds cover

  • good sweeping but sucks in harmonics and chords

  • Nice

  • Are you inspired by Sepultura...?

  • Amazing and Modern!

  • You look like Joe Jonas.

  • Now now ... no need to throw around insults like that!

  • now bach double on classical guitar or even good old fassion romance are real classical, especially the first, that shit takes real talent

  • lol

this one although is a completly different style, is harder... by far :P

I know some classic songs, I'll definately record some.

I never listened to the song bach double BWV 997 (i guess you were refering to this one). It's a very nice song. thanks

  • you suck my balls

  • this is more of a thing you should play on clean electric, this is not at all classical guitar, your not playing treble phrases with base accents at all and your not use your right hand in picking at all, and your not playing any real classical chord structures, this is more blues/rock with alot major and seventh chords, you do play some minors in the beginning and at the end but come on man, it does not even sound classical at all

  • Hey moron did it ever occur to you that hes playing A CLASSICAL GUITAR? Its not CLASSICAL music. Duh. Hence the phrase "Classical Guitar Solo" It doesn't necessarily mean thats hes playing classical music. God I hate nitpickers like you. Such a jerk...

  • chill out ^^

This should be played in an acoustic one of course. I could had played this on electric too with a pretty looking acoustic effect.

But I played this on classic because when I learnt the song, it was the only one I had the time, so now it feels more comfortable to play in it, that's all.

    cheers

  • im not pissed at you, i was pissed at the guy whining that it wasnt real classical music. i think you play wonderfully. its definitely not meant for an electric though. Tim Reynolds uses a lot of percussion style sounds with his acoustic guitar that you just cant get from an electric.

  • love the part off 1:34 : D

  • Good work mate, I wish I was half as good....

  • And MrCloudify is now officially today's Emperor Joseph II.

  • You play cool, but I don't like the song, It's just too random, its kind of creative, but nah not my type

    anyway, you play great

  • Very nice and even technique in your left hand. not ugly, nice to watch. good stuff man.

  • what's the name of the song?

  • 'Stream' from the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds' album Live at Luther College.

  • Not bad bro but your shuffle picking is a lil off on the on the ending of the speed picking riff gimme a ring we'll chat, I just added a video today you can see me rip it up :)- My profile name is ShroomMike420

  • very inspiring. i think i'll try imitating you via. arpeggio. i've been practicing the alternate/economical picking styles with my thumb nail, and i think more freedom can go a long way. i'm totally learning the 'cool' parts of this. lol

  • hmm i didn't get what you meant, because I didn't use arpeggio. Nevertheless I think this is a really good song to learn in order to develop speed and technique.

  • you're a great guitar player !

  • 2.32 omg lolianaire

  • HAHA xD that is so funny

  • loose that pick

  • I used tabs for this one. I'd strongly suggest you to get a software called guitar pro 5. It reads tabs and can play them, so you can see the duration of the notes and stuff... There are several sites where you can get tabs, including for this program. ultimate guitar is a good one and it has the guitar pro tab for this one.

    cheers

  • i agree with you i have gp 5 and it is very helpful.

  • I practice learning songs mainly. I rarely train scales, although I should practice them often and specially learn some theory

Try to play challenging songs. This one for example took me a long time to play it completely. Everytime I had tried, I always got stucked at some part of the song. I then learned something else and months later I came back again and I could play a little bit more. I did this for several times until I play the full song.

    so just keep practicing.

  • This is not classical. You're pretty incredible nonetheless ;). 5*.

  • You're on point! Very beautiful. Ignore the haters.

  • sweet stuff, but, can you do it fingerstyle?

  • thanks, but I don't get what you mean. If I can play this song without a pick? shit no!! I wish I could.

If you meant if I can play fingerstyle songs, well yes i can, I have some in my profile. check the masa sumide's or masaaki kishibe's videos if you want.

    cheers

  • very nice

  • boring!!

  • Your amazing.

Brandon0623 is Douche Dont listen to him. i acutally play spanish acoustic and electric, and i believe that as long as the tune is good - it is good.

  • i love this song. brandon0623 has problems and obviously no idea what he's talking about. and cesar, you are definitely good. awesome job with this song.

  • that's not a song songs have harmony and form

  • ? so you don't like this, therefore this is not a song.. right.. What concerns acoustic guitar playing, Reynolds is one of the best, but ok.

    end of discussion

  • check the name of the video...and repeat with me

"Insane Classical Guitar Solo" he never said it was a song

and its bloody awsome guitar playing. :)

  • also with that posture his spine is gonna twist by the time he's 30

  • he's not amazing he's just playing a bunch of random neurotic shit and he's not even holding the guitar right

  • you talk too much.. worse, it's all crap.

i'd strongly recommend you to check the original song, which is in the description that obviously didn't read.. and confirm (not!) mine "random" notes.

  • dude you're amazing

  • thanks!

  • gay

  • what is wrong with you

  • wow

    that was some deep shit!lol

    acoustic legend

  • You my friend I am very sorry to say are very ignorant. Its CLASSICAL. not acoustic. Nylon Strings make a shitload of a difference.

  • well its a year later and still barely any views guess your idea sucked

  • very impressive, talented, not an easy piece to play

  • awesome music.

  • i think this tempo is better . If you are playing classical guitar first of you have to think about your tone and nuances wtih plecturm it is very difficult to do. conguratulations you play wonderful.

  • pro

  • amazing job man! ive been learning bits and piece of this song for so long but havent put them all together. VERY nice!

  • man that's awesome. great job.

  • my god, thats clean!

  • wow...very very nice! I am impressed, good job!

  • Wonderful! So clean! So fast! But only 632 views ......it's not right!

  • WOW!!! and i thought my cover was good(its on youtube) I will just keep practicing and I will do the live at Luther College version

But anyways GOOD JOB THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

  • Muy bien Ceasar.

Your fingerwork is excellente. But you need to speed up your pick hand, at least for any of Tims songs.

Very good job tho, best cover of a Tim song, in my opinion and its on classic guitar!! Well done.

  • thanks!

yes it's true, Tim Reynolds plays really fast not only at strumming but also in alternate picking. I played some parts of the song a little slower than the original.

It's too fast for me ^^
