Furthermore, as I had already stated, the concept is not only, not japanese it was created by Andreas Pavel. He ended up having to give up the rights, but that does not mean that it was Sony who invented it, just who claimed credit.

Furthermore, as I had already stated, the concept is not only, not japanese it was created by Andreas Pavel. He ended up having to give up the rights, but that does not mean that it was Sony who invented it, just who claimed credit.
(Also note, the history books of any given country are about as credible a source as wikipedia.)

@meaningoflove7 the korean store owner of that thai restuarant tried to fake the thai food but he got caught because my friend is thai and his parents owns two thai restuarants in CA and DC. he told me that every thai restuarant that claims to serve "AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD" has a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY by the USA Thai EMBASSY with the Thai Royal Family Stamp on it. This certificate of authenticity is always posted on the wall. We checked for the certificate and found none. NOW THAT'S FAKE!

@dianthusboy Also note, nobody has said anything about comparing Korea to Japan or China but you, and next to everything you've said has merely been opinions. On another note, everything is made in china because the chinese lack certain laws which allow a business to make their products there cheaper by paying less wages, among other benefits, and in no way can be credited to China. Furthermore, I do not have korean fever, though I do enjoy products of many a diverse countries.

Even music from Canada or American is never strictly either, because it travels back and forth in waves to different countries, and alters itself each time. Also note that, 'korean action movies suck to the bone' is completely a opinion, and a rather biased one at that. Oh, and I'm not so ignorant a person to need to see something multiple times to process it, though I like to see it in many sources.

Furthermore, notice how mp3 became so popular, and walkman sucked, and many of them even skipped when you would move while using them. And no, it was not a fresh idea by Sony, Sony simply was the first with the resources and ambition to do it.

Furthermore, walkman sucked even during their time, I know, I had one and promptly hated it because it was simply butchering the music, of which I had and still have a great passion for. @dianthusboy 'original copyright owner' Does not mean inventor, it means the one who holds the intellectual copy rights. Which as I previous stated, are more often then naught bought and sold, because people can't afford to go through with all their ideas. If someone has a idea for a new design or principle for technology, it's too bad for them unless they have a fortune saved to spend testing, mass producing, and shipping it. Sony ALSO happens to be a company that buys those ideas.

@dianthusboy Sony owns the intellectual rights to the product yes, that does not however make it their idea or concept. Furthermore, the concept "Portal musical device" existed LONG BEFORE the walkman anyways, portable radios existed since well before the 70's. (50's come before the 70's)
Also, things like 'all the benefits that you believe the Korean enjoy today' in a argument holds no merit, as you have no way of knowing exactly what I believe until I outright say it.

@FallOutAndDown all the benefits that you believe the korean enjoy today are old stuff to chinese and japanese. korean culture does not have the impact like chinese culture did and still do today. you need to accept that korean culture is based on chinese culture. for example, the korean written system and social structure is based on chinese. korean culture only permeate very little part of the world, and only with those who are into korean dramas and music. many don't care.

@FallOutAndDown there are technology that classified as "humanatarian technology" by the UN. any technology under this classification can be share by humanity, but you CAN'T discredit the person, company, or nation that created the technology. humanatarian technology is exempt from international copyright law. some technology become public domain after a certain period of time, that mean anyone can copy it. but you can't discredit the rightful owner/inventor.

(Such as this case) Though sony does not claim to be the inventor (because they are not), it is just you claiming they are because they are the owner. @dianthusboy The walkman was created in the late 1970's, and the original ceased soon after, though the BRAND (of walkman) continued, the ORIGINAL walkman died the horrible pitiful death it should've as it was terribly designed, though the idea was great, the device was not. Ergo, walkman CAN NOT be the mp3 of the "80's 90's and 2000's" especially consider we had mp3 in 2000's. (Notice I how I made that redundant so you could understand it.)
