Superior of inferior are relative terms. Modern humans still sacrifice animals to their gods, in Islam & christianity animals are slaughtered in celebrations and modern man may have reason & science, yet without ancient Egypt & ancient Greece we wouldn't have science.
Ancient human cultures living in isolation came to similar conclusions by observation & reason, they may have had some insane overtones, but their understanding of true reality, the paranormal & divine was vastly superior.
@scoocheeful if Greece & Egypt had never existed another place would have filled the role sooner or later, china maybe, but i trust you are not confusing the early sciences with the mythology of those nations.
para-normal, think seriously about that term, what it means, if they understood it it would be normal, factual, they may have, but you can't prove it, well except through warped logic.
as for divinity, what is divine about fact, and your concept of true reality is far from factual.
"Golden ages" are always more tarnished, than they first appear.
I know, I've look really hard at lots of them & still go on about the age of steam.
Some time from now, if humanity is lucky & survives the shit hole we've made of our home, from our arrogance, someone with a childlike wonder will look back upon us and say: "Oh what a golden age of _____ that was. I wish I could have lived back then. When people/things were more/less _____ than they are today."
@DonQuixotedeKaw true, it easy to make believe a perfection, even if no fact are around, its easy to dream up an utopian age if it makes people feel good or they need that crutch, it's just how people often are, needy children in the minds of adults who do not see with eyes open
@beyondbeyondness they are the same drell dressed up in new rags, magical thinking that faith saves the true of heart, shame its the same crap as pagans and tribal BS :)
@wolfwing1 you should go for it, people try to say it all real on some trains of thoughts, but its a totally irrational and not worthy of any merit to believe in this for of magical thinking, it annoys me to be fair, but a lot of things do :)
@roblesterfilms heh I can sum up the theme for my video, nescaity is the mother of all inventions. I might put it up in a hour or two before bed, not sure yet :>

although its probably bullshit that the ancients may have had alien contact.

contact with aliens is a fuckload more plausible that a magic man in the sky.
