That was great! but how come you didnt go for more rings in that one area (@ 1:04) ? would really affect your score if you took like 2 more seconds to get like 20 more rings?

i think the problem is when you get more then 99 rings it starts from 0

Also collecting 100 rings sends you to the Special Stage

That happens for Sonic only, Tails gets an extra life and the counter resets to 0.
