I use a double bladed raiser with hair conditioner in the shower. Takes 2 minutes and it's smooth.

Not nearly close enough for my tastes. I have one of these, but in my opinion it's worthless. I use a blade, the only way to go true bald.

@matosyablaze the purpose of shaving this close with clippers is so that when you go to shave off the residual hair later on with a razor (straight,disposable,etc) afterwards the razor will not be so clogged with huge clumps of hair that ordinary (cheaper made ) clippers leave behind

Oster Classic 76 has detachable blades, It comes with a 1 and a #000. The barber is using a #00000 blade. The more zeros the more hair it takes off. You have to buy it seperately. It's an expensive clipper. Over 100 U.S dollars. I'll send you a vidoe of different clippers in your inbox.

Damn that's a little too much. Just bought that seperate #00000 for like $40 and it cuts close enough. I'm happy it. I guess if I just want to be completely bald I should use a shaver after that.....cool thanx

hi, i got oster 76 too, let me recommend you blade 000000 from andis it works for the oster 76, i`m a barber and i use this blade when a make bald fade. hope my recomendation it`s works for you..see ya

I have the Oster Powerline with blades from 00000 up to 3&3/4. I like it. Never have shaved my head yet with the 00000 but would like to try it sometime. I've used Wahl Balding Clipper (has 000000 blade) followed by Mach 3 when I wanta be BALD!

No, the blade on the Wahl Balding Clipper is fixed. While blades on Oster are interchangeable.
