  • Oh, and if you haven't noticed, Gould is singing to himself as usual! Listen closely and you'll hear his lovely "dum dum dee"s very faintly.

  • Absolutely Incredible. I have not heard anyone, or any 'machine' play this piece with so much feeling. It tickled my Brain, and sent shivers through my Soul.

  • I've not seen the manuscript so I've no idea whether Mozart indicated this speed but I like it and everyone else seems to play far too fast. This allows the delicacy of the notes, tunes to shine through.

  • he had an incredible cleverness in playing so sharp notes, staccato..as though he was at a harpsichord!

  • This is the best version of this piece I've ever heard. Now I understand why Glenn Gould is a big deal.
