The people of Southern Sudan now have their own country yet there are still 800,000-1,000,000 in Khartoum why would they want to continue living under the 'terrible oppression of the wicked Arabs' now they have their own country.

Secondly, look at how many Hindus still remained in Pakistan after partition; it took a few years for just about all the Hindus to leave Pakistan and besides, Berbers, Copts, Phoenicians, Assyrians and Chaldeans all still live under The Arab though there are now more Phoenicians in diaspora then do live in modern Lebanon.

If I am not correct there was no vote to decide the division by the people, the Empire decided that there should be a division. 99 percent voted for independence from the 'nasty Arabs' yet continue to live in their domain. The other groups you mentioned are not demanding their own countries although they ask for their identities to be recognized
