Awesome song! Great singing! I am learning this song @ school in my music period...me and my friends are having fun in the music period :P :P :P :P :P :P
You're in a room with Miley Cyrus and Joe Jonas and you have a gun but only 1 bullet. What do you do? You beat them both to death with the gun butt then you go out and look for Justin Beiber. The world is saved.
It's funny how music expands - from what I've read about it, when it was written this song was the equivalent of a commercial jingle, or perhaps more accurately a company theme - just a song to commemorate and advertise a cable car system. Nowadays it's considered one of the most well known cultural songs of Italy.
@Littl3Mon5terM4n The language is actually Neapolitan, not Italian. Italy used to be a loose confederacy of statelets with different languages until 150 years ago, when it was unified. However, people still learned their local language, and not Italian, as their mother tongue, and Italian was taught to them in schools. Now they DO learn Italian first, but especially in the southern regions children grow up as technically bilingual, as they are still exposed to Italian *AND* their local language.
i will never understand why people come listen to these great old songs and performers and hit dislike. how did you even end up here if you dislike it?
@brgvc Ai maaaare dreptate.
