Don't have anything clinical here, but... a "friend of a friend" was prescribed Laetrile for pancreatic cancer. To me it is the best written primer on the subject because it is a very quick and easy read, yet captures the basics so well, much like this video.

@roselleneado B17- is found in Apricot kernels, black strap mollasses, and wheat grass- I hope this helps, also get her on a good digestive program- detox, and probiotics to add the good bacteria back in her system. Good digestions is so important, because once the dis-ease is broken apart, you need to get it out of your system, so that it wont recirculate in the blood stream. I also have my mom on pancreatic enyzmes- which work great- they help produce bile, she got rid of a brain tumor.

Apricots & cherries which are the greatest sources of B-17 are not always in season.

So I'm using the Health store bought bag of apricot kernels. I hope they're O.K. I get disheartened when people condemn them as next to worthless. I have a cat that was neutered late in life & this brought about some tumors. She's had 1 bout of surgery but they proliferated & bled. A course of kernels crushed in a mortar & pestle with meals stopped the bleeding at least.

I am a science major and it seems that everything being said checks out...It is pretty simple, in fact, the average person can understand this. In layman's terms, the cyanide is ONLY, for the most part, released at the site of the cancer/enzyme/B-17 molecule. Compare this, Na(sodium) is explosive in the prescence of water but when combined Cl- ion it is table salt and practically harmless. Same idea here. NaCl is not harmfull, but alone Na is explosive. C20H27NO11(Amygdalin) isn't toxic

Thankgiving of 2007 i found out a had colon cancer and i had less than 6 weeks to live. Thanks to chemo treatments i'm still here 6 months later. The cancer had spread to my live and my lungs i had stage 4 colon cancer. It was easy to give up hope, but i found god. Life is worth fighting for.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you have found the support you seek and are feeling better now...just wanted to mention that I think you have to eat the WHOLE fruit, even if you were able to locate a source of the seeds. Man, my old neighbors had 2 beautiful apricot trees that fruited like crazy every year and they tossed the rotting fruit--I didn't realize how precious those seeds could be until I finished Griffin's book. As an example i will tell you that my mother started using medical marijuana a couple months ago and about 4-5 hits a day has replaced over 8 different perscribed medications migrain pain (3 different medications) (she has BIG problems with migrains), arthritis pain, insomnia (2 or 3 different meds taken simultaneosly), muscle spasms, and depression with very tolerable side effects

@Doncrai365 I am a firm believer in natural and herbal solutions. I have recommended people close to me in similar situations to your mother to research alternatives. Including this video.

Sometimes the little pill helps; and sometimes the herbs help. Your mother is unique, as is everyone; so we can't assume that what works for her will work for everybody else, like wise we can not assume that it wont work for her because it didn't work for someone else.

Why limit yourself to only one option?

@TheSupremeAbstract Basically, if treatments are created to focus on the cause of the illness instead of to cover up symptoms (often only causing other symptoms sometimes fatal). And created as an honest health driven study, not shrouded in pseudoscience to get sales then I think synthetic drugs can be just as good and in some cases better (more targeted) than natural alternatives (though most vitamins metabolize better from natural sources). But until then id be weary of pharmaceutical drugs.

Unfortunately there isn't as much £$£ in honesty and consideration. And that will never change no matter how many videos are posted on Youtube. Remember though, it's a billion $ industry, it would never get that big if it were all placebos.

This is why I feel all options should be available for the person in need. Sometimes chemists can cure, other times nature can, and a lot of the time neither do. Ultimately it's down to the individual to make their own decision.

@TheSupremeAbstract It has also increased her appetite. Which one of the side effects of one of her medications made her nauseous and lose her appetite. She also recently has a herniated disc. And the marijuana has helped her be active. The underlying cause of most of her problems is her lupus. Though they still dont know why she gets migrains so often (Nearly everyday, sometimes all day). But she says that marijuana is like a miracle drug. For those with cancer b17 might be their miracle drug
