  • You have asked several different questions here. War has a purpose but should ONLY be used as a last resort. This is a social, moral, and economical imperative. Peace IS ideal, as it is written "blessed are the peace makers." Violence should be used to defend and protect, NOT for revenge or preemptive attacks. No one prospers under war, we need to at least try and achieve peace.

  • OUR "ENEMIES" ARE NOT EFFENCIVE. THEY ARE DEFENSIVE. THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THEIR LAND. THEY DO NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT HOLLYWOOD.

  • HOW THE HELL IS THE PEACE MOVEMENT ANTI-CHRISTIAN? CHRIST WAS THE PRINCE OF PEACE. EVANGELICALS OPPOSED US ENTRY TO WW1 AND WW2. THE BIBLE SAYS THOU SHALL NOT KILL AND THAT PEOPLE SHOULD LOVE THEIR ENEMIES. THE PASTOR WHO CREATED THE PHRASE WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? SAID THAT THE US NAVY WAS A TOOL FOR CORPORATIONS TO LOOT LATIN AMERICA. HOW CAN A CONSERVATIVE SUPPORT THE LARGEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE GOVERNMENT PROGRAM, THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX?

  • @jhk863 CAPS LOCK EQUALS BEING MORE RIGHT!!!!!!

  • I agree with you for the most part, but there are just a few things you are wrong about.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't agree with you on this one, but I'm liking it because it's still a good video. Your historical views are a bit incorrect. Also, war is okay, if there is a real threat, which honestly, are the countries we're fighting right now a real threat?

  • Hey guys, I find that people like you are always commenting on these videos with strong profanity and hate either because you know he is right, you want to troll make make a fuss just for the fun of it, or you honestly cannot stand the fact that somebody else doesn't agree with your so- called "liberal intelligence" where anything against peace, social advancement, and conservatives that love the lord are idiots that dont have the right of free speech because they are idiots.

  • @SpartanAOK

It has nothing to do with "liberal intelligence" or anything of the sort. Have you been to Iraq or Afghanistan? Having served in the military, I can say that almost everyone of my conservative friends I deployed with to Iraq went away being as disillusioned with the war and wars in general as me. It's easy to talk about how great and noble wars are from the sidelines but until you actually experience it, you don't really know what you're talking about.

  • You mention that countries need to go to war sometimes if they're attacked so is it safe to assume that you're in favor of Nicaragua going to war with the US for supporting the Contras or how about the Cuban who have been under constant attack from US backed anti-Castro terrorism for the last 50 years? If not then how can you justify the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan under the auspices of fighting terrorism? You can't say you're against terrorism if it's ok for some countries to practice it.

  • Let's talk about the Iraq war in particular, as many as 1 million Iraqis may be dead even though prior to the invasion, Saddam Hussein offered to hold elections and allow US troops into the country to search for the banned weapons. If this was a question of good and evil, the US shouldn't have killed 800,000 Iraqis with sanctions or provided Saddam with chemical weapons and been one of his strongest allies during the 1980s.

  • @Amblue35 wow your a new kind of stupid sadam holding eletions huh i bet you think if we were nice to iran they would just do the right thing go away with your stupid ron paul brain washed bull shit

  • @ugotcatfish

You don't have to believe me but it's no secret. Just do a little research of your own and see what pops up. I'll help you start out because it seems like you need the extra help. Just go to google and type in the following phrases and read the articles that pop up:

"Saddam's desperate offers to stave off war"

"THE STRUGGLE FOR IRAQ: DIPLOMACY; Iraq Said to Have Tried to Reach Last-Minute Deal to Avert War"

"UAE official: Hussein was open to exile"

  • @Amblue35 what news station put it out there dont give me some bullshit i dont care if he said it or not he was a evil man that derserved to die and thats that if you can't handle have to kill some evil people then you in the wrong country. So go back to your Ron Paul kool=aid and shut up no one cares what nut balls have to say.but you probly think hitler was just a misunderstanding he love the jew right your dumb

  • @ugotcatfish

Do you have any articles to prove your side? I provided you three articles and I can provide more but I'm sure you'll dismiss them as well so I won't bother. Any rational thinking human being would find it suspicious that the same guy who had basically his whole military destroyed by the US during the first Gulf War wouldn't try to avoid a second war knowing what the results would be but I guess it's more pleasant to think that he was just crazy and wanted a war.

  • Peace would be lovely, but like fuck are we ever gonna achieve it, so boot up and move out, sorry to say but tis the only way

  • Fuck you Steven.

American GI's are dying needlessly in countries America has no interest in and it has nothing to do with freedom either.

This ''war on terror'' is actually eroding American civil liberties and killing civilians, as well as the soldiers you claim to speak for.

Instead of being a talking head for the Fox News agenda why don't you join in these wars and become a soldier?

    Fucking Chickenhawk Fox News scum.

Your straw-man arguments and ignorance is laughable.

    Peace FTW!

  • No fucking wonder hes on Fox.. hes a ignorant retard.. with no clue what so sever, just talking out of his ass

  • Grugh, John Lennon was an idiot, but he still was apart of a great band! THE BEATLES!

  • i think violence is never the 1st solution. but it can be 2nd solution.

  • love u crowder !

  • @cccphackmaster its austin and i would just like to say that your idea of peace will never be achieved and that you should just give up and find something else to waste your time with than a goal that will never be accomplished, that is the nicest way i could put it so there you go

  • what about war killing innocent civilians? what do you have to say about that?

  • @cccphackermaster what about the inoccent civilians in OUR country that would die at the cost of nit defending

  • @TheWonderfullChannel hey whose the bigger force? coming down on another country whose civillians are murdered

  • @cccphackermaster That is a cause TO fight a war, like that time Hitler killed innocent people and the Allies kicked his ass.

  • Then he has to make a gay voice when was going on his glenn beck like rant about the peace symbol. stay classy steven

  • How much is the fed paying this idiot for this bullshit propaganda?

This guy obviously hates Ron Paul becaue he didn't unilaterally blame absolve the US in the attacks.

According to extreme right-wingers, the US is ALWAYS just sitting there minding it's OWN little business, when some big bad barbarians come along, twirling their mustaches and try to DESTROY OUR FREEDOM! "NYAH HA HA HA!"

Then the American pariots rose up and DEFEATED THE ENEMY!

Of course, the TRUTH is a LITTLE more complicated.

  • His argument: "You only get to spout your message of 'wanting peace,' only because of American GI's oveseas fighting against the VERY PEOPLE, who DON'T."

    Wow, paranoid much?

WW1 was caused by US industrialists and the Wilson Administration supplying Britain and conspiring with France and Russia to expand their respective empires, turning a border-skirmish into a world war which also created COMMUNISM and a global depression which in turn brought about WW2-- Marx's "epoch to come via Lincoln."

  • This is what happens when a comedian believes his own bullshit.

So now Steve Chowder thinks we'd be invaded and conquered if we didn't have military actions all over the world? PARANOID much?

He obviously believes the hype that "the US never attacks anyone, everyone attacks the US."

Obviously this was NEVER the case; ALL wars against the US, were STARTED by the US, via ACTS OF WAR AGAINST THOSE COUNTRIES-- right back to to the Revolution.

Read some REAL history, not what they WANT you to think?

  • you might be the dumbest person i've seen on youtube

  • the peace symbol has a long history of being anti-christian? GOOD.

  • are you ever gonna make an argument about why war is "good" or are you just going to keep talking shit about john lennon you fucking nut job

  • "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."-- George Orwell.

  • Steven, that was excellent. Thank you for this and all your videos, exposing the junk thinking of progressives and liberals, and with such clarity and eloquence, as well as being funny as hell. You hit the nail on the head with this video. All the points you made - just excellent.

Isn't it refreshing to be able to think with common sense and reality instead of silly platitudes.

Thanks also for exposing that awful hippie sign of "peace". Like Lennon, their idea of peace was and is to deny God.

  • I did not know that about the peace sign! Here all this time i thought it was just some pagan thing that got adopted by the hippies! No wonder I hate it so much!

  • How can people say there is no God it makes no sense .

“I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how he could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.”- Abraham Lincoln

  • @15minoflame

"Makes no sense"...to you. Finish your sentences. Makes perfect sense actually.

  • The quickest way to end a war, is to lose it.

e.g. letting islamic terrorists kill us before we kill them

  • all of you are completely missing the point steve's trying to make

  • This fool has it wrong about Nero. The Christians of the time were very militant and were consdiered the cultists of the time with their scaremongering and their undermining of Roman law and refusal to respect a legitimate and advanced culture. The Christians were like the Muslims of today and the Jews of the 30s.

  • imagine is overplayed because it was lennons solo hit, why not play nowhere man or anything off rubbersoul, sgt peppers, or revolver and tell me theyre overrated

  • then his smug face at 0:03 and how he does the antigay stereotype voice at 0:22, what a smug little shit. and you would play imagine which have great lyrics but you are too dumb to get the message of the song, to take you to a place where war isnt around and help people realize theyre mistakes. And then how he mentions that lennon cheated on his wife, ofcourse steven knows what It's like being john lennon and having every girl in the world want you. And like steven never cheated LOL

  • @bojanks15 Just because women want you doesn't mean you HAVE to give into temptation.

On the other hand, maybe living in the fantasy-land of their music blinded them to the real world, like Paul McCartney forgetting to make a prenup with that uber-gold-digger?

When you put a "message" in your music, that turns it from art to political commentary, and more often than not, celebrities are wrong in their "messages", because they don't live in the REAL world!

  • @EPGAH all music has a message and a groove to send out and just because you are star doesnt mean you are living in a fantasy world. Do you have any knowlege about the Beatles really? Have you ever listened to their music?

And BTW have you ever listen Rage against the machine? Oh wait you can't handle it, it scares you too much to hear some truths from musical GENIUSES.

  • @bojanks15 Yes, the Beatles have a fantastic feel-good vibe, but it's totally divorced from reality. In reality, I got a feeling, a bad, bad feeling that criminals will prey on anyone who doesn't fight them.

How do you fight bad guys without killing them? We no longer have the option of sending them to a faraway island and watching them shape up just to survive. There's no island big enough and unoccupied enough, and no country wants to take on another's criminals, right?

  • @bojanks15 "Activist" stars DO live in a fantasy universe, the subjects they talk about, they have no first-hand knowledge of.

Michael Moore talks about how being rich, tax-loopholes, and overconsuming are evil, but he exploits tax-loopholes to keep the wealth from his movies, he doesn't invite the poor to live in his mansion, etc.

  • @bojanks15 Lady GaGa "fights" for illegals, but only because illegals don't negatively impact her lifestyle in any way...She likes drugs, guards stop thugs...Maybe she even employs a few rather than pay Americans a decent wage?

Anyone who wants "peace" should tell the bad guys to put down their weapons, rather than chide the good guys. Of course, the former would kill them, the latter are bound by law to PROTECT them, so it's safer to bitch at the latter than the former, right?

  • steven crowder would not be a beatles fan, yeah the idea of being respectful to eachother and good music is so evil! AMIRITE? jesus christ I'm beginning to think he's a demon or something, well he does enjoy sucking the devils cock quite a bit (fox news)

and get your fucking facts straight before posting your propaganda for the masses of your cult subscribers eating up everything you and your friend glenn beck say. You are not funny and are just a drain on society, I'm sorry.

  • @ovcas25 If you want peace, you have to let your enemies know that fucking with us is the dumbest idea they could possibly have, and would make all other methods of suicide seem fun by comparison.

If, on the other hand, enemies know that they can attack us, whine about being punished, and pretend to be sorry to avoid punishment--then do it all over again--they certainly will!

  • having war is keeping our unemployment rate down

  • Ugh, this guy is so hit and miss. The whole "we are fighting them because they want to destroy our freedoms" is BS. No Iraqi or Afghan ever attacked us, and no one attacks us because of our freedom of speech. It is just a redux of Plato's Noble Lie. Read just the first chapter of Michael Scheuer's book "Osama Bin Laden" and you will learn quite a lot.

  • you never really gave any points as to why peace is bad, you just said when violence is good, kinda different.

  • @marrrrrrks peace is good but unotainable

  • Well Crowder, if you think war helps a lot, why don't you volunteer for service at your nearest recruiting station and serve on the front line, having to see your friends die, the misery, pain, death, asking yourself why the hell I'm here instead of being some you tube hack who gets their misguided information from where the peace symbol originated. You, sir, have no idea what war is.

  • @Scorp308 You sir are describing the pointless war the U.S. government is prolonging int the middle east. Crowder is describing necessary conflicts, such as WWII. I am part of Pararescue (AFSOC) and share most of Crowder's views, although the misconception with "violence solves everything" only applies to necessary conflicts (Jus ad Bellum). Btw, Ron Paul 2012.

  • @kubibear Btw, Barrack Hussein Obama 2012.

  • @Scorp308 You were just talking about "having to see your friends die, the misery, pain, death" and you support the man that protracted this conflict way beyond it's original purpose. My brother died in Iraq because of this completely pointless war, and you seem to think the war has purpose. Barack Obama is being paid by Chase, Citigroup, B of A, Goldman-Sachs to bail them out, not to help us Americans.

  • @kubibear As I said to grimblebrumble17889, we're fighting to continue fighting, only because we're afraid to WIN, BUT we're STILL paying to rebuild Iraq--and the terrorists "helpfully" destroy everything we build up, so America pays to re-re-rebuild!

The bailout was entirely separate from this halfass excuse for a war, it was because Clinton promoted the CRA from an obscure ignored law to the Prime Directive, all but FORCING banks to loan to people who didn't deserve it!

  • "All those who want peace, prepare for war" Aristotle

  • “If we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known that we are at all times ready for war.”

    - George Washington

  • you sir, are a fucking idiot!

  • This video is pathetic, an anti-peace video? Really?

The peace symbol is the semaphore signals for the letters "N" and "D," standing for "nuclear disarmament". It was first used in 1958.

Given the choice i would choose peace over war but that might be because in not a crazy person.

  • What does John Lennon's death have to with peace?

  • You have a right to be an egomaniac if you're john lennon.

  • first of all john lenon was a great person and musical genuis and almoast evry thing in this video a lie get your facts straight crowder

  • @superimperial007 Your facts?

  • This video was debunked by antybu86. /watch?v=f70Si6REWj8&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

  • Yeah lets just go into other countries steal their oil and blow shit up until they are all just like us...this guy is an idiot.

  • @ginad17 How many American companies--or Americans at all, for that matter--have benefited from Iraq's oil?

NONE! CHINA TOOK IT! Read a newspaper, FFS! A British or Canadian one, if you don't trust American news.

And we're not even in Afghanistan for the oil, but to stop them from growing opium!

And actually, what you describe is exactly what we had to do to stop the Japanese from conquering China, and force Germany back into their own country, rather than let them own the East Hemisphere!

  • @EPGAH You just go ahead and believe that. I'm a history major I know you are wrong.

  • @ginad17 Which point do you want to call me wrong about? That CHINA took the oil, which Iraq promised to us, that we didn't HAVE to drive Germany back out of France, Normandy, etc., or that we didn't HAVE to stop Japan from invading/raping China, Philippines, and the South Pacific?

My Grandpa is a WWII vet, he'll be upset over the latter two! Those WWII vets are really committed to the lie!

  • @EPGAH I'm not saying those didn't happen, I'm saying they are not comparable to WWII.

  • @EPGAH I mean not comparable to the Middle East. I know this stuff happened in WWII before you jump on my ass about it.

  • @ginad17 Are you a history major, or a REVISIONIST history major? They're quite different, the latter tries to make the bad guys out to be "misunderstood"--or even reverse roles of good guys and bad guys--and not make the losers seem QUITE so loser-ly!

  • @EPGAH Well seeing as how revisionist history is not offered as a major...dumbass, think of better insults.

  • @ginad17 Actually, it is, have you read the modern "history" books? When I went to school, history books were mighty tomes, like a hardcover phone book. When I went to college, they were more compact, but still comparable in size (and weight) to all my other textbooks. Strangely, they started changing a few facts, like whether Indians were hostile, or what Germany's motives were.

Now, my niece's history book is thinner than a PC Gamer magazine, and leaves out all the "unpleasant" parts!

  • @ginad17 More importantly, however, history has been rewritten to show America as the bad guy in all major combats, including Indians, Canada, Revolutionary War, Civil War, the World Wars, and especially Vietnam/Korea!

If we're so evil, why do we keep paying the losers of wars we have? Why not extract "tribute" from them, as victors did in centuries past?

  • @EPGAH the US actually tried to stop the rest of the Entente powers from doing that to the Germans. Exacting "tribute" is what caused the 2nd world war. And as for the wars against the Indians and the Civil war and Vietnam well Ill let those speak for themselves.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 Actually, it was because Hitler pointed out that Germany never really LOST WWI, they SURRENDERED, so they needed a rematch, because in their eyes, it wasn't a rematch, it was a continuation.

That aside, though, America's "Winner Pays" system is both a good reason to NOT win, AND causes lesser cultures to start wars with us, just so that we'll upgrade their countries at our expense, something akin to "Insurance Fraud" here in America.

  • @EPGAH the Germans were starving as a result of the RN blockade. The Kaiser had to flee so he didnt get massacred by the German people the same way the Russian royals did. And as for Afghanistan, opium is the easiest source of revenue for Afghan civilians. Seen as how its either grow opium for money or starve I consider the Talibans methods of suppression the only real option. And who the fuck cares about Afghans getting educated? Answer: no one. We didnt care yesterday we wont care tommorow.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 "Deal Drugs Or Starve" are NOT their only options. They could grow REAL crops, AKA "subsistence farming". Even people in the Civilized World who want to "Go Off the Grid" are doing that.

As to "Taliban suppression", what do you mean? Utter stomping of the bad guys? I agree, but the problem is, the Taliban starts getting full of themselves, and attacks the Civilized World, so why is it considered a horrible thing when the Civilized World stomps them in turn?

  • @EPGAH I was under the impression that it was Saudi Arabian and 1 Kuwaiti member of Al Qaeda that "got full of themselves"? The Taliban were merely the recognised government (in control of a few cities but not much more) of Afghanistan. And no they cant do subsistence farming. Poppies grow in any soil, even the barren soil of Afghanistan. In Britain its a symbol of war as poppies are the only plant that will survive a battle and its effects on the land.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 American (And others) Foreign Aid Workers are showing them how to grow REAL crops, AT OUR EXPENSE, but the terrorists are the ones that are causing the "battles". If the terrorists would stop burning down the crops, the farmers, and sometimes the Foreign Aid Workers, that wouldn't be a concern.

And if they truly DO have to resort to crime to survive, maybe they shouldn't survive?

  • @EPGAH FFS this is like talking to a 5 year old. Growing opium is considered a legitimate way of making money over there by everyone other than the taliban. Your going to advocate the butchery of people just making a living. This is not black and white. Im sick of this "blah blah blah THE TERRORISTS, THE TERRORISTS, blah blah blah" WE ALL KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT ABOUT FUCKING TERRORISM. It never was.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 Drugs are a crime in nearly the entire civilized world. The Moslem Cult also considers slavery legitimate, do you think we should allow that?

If they KNOWINGLY go against the rules of the Civilized World, they should not expect to be treated the same as those who FOLLOW it.

    Crime&Punishment ARE Black&White!

Also, the Taliban keep attacking legit businesses, not just drug-dealers. Should we allow that because "Hey, they stop the drug-dealers"?

  • @grimblebrumble17889 If you believe we should let the Moslem Cultists make their own laws, then by what right can ANY set of laws be binding? Maybe we owe the south half of America a big-ass apology for freeing the slaves?

After all, that was THEIR way of life, a legit way of making money. (Well, actually, the money was made by British and Dutch merchants more than the end-users, but the point still stands!)

Should we apologize for trying to keep nukes out of Kim Jong Il's immature hands?

  • @EPGAH /watch?v=f70Si6REWj8&feature=m fu_in_order&list=UL

  • @ginad17 That link tries to discredit Crowder because he believes Nero burned his own city and burned the Christians...

Whether that is true or false, it does not change that the only way to truly have "peace" is to bend over for all who make demands of you, all who attack you. The moment you stop complying, you'll have to fight for your right to dissent. The moment you fight back against those who attack you, you are not "peaceful" anymore, and that's somehow inherently "bad"?

  • @ginad17 /watch?v=uoeuh-EGj7s

"We can have peace right this second--if we surrender"

Obama is called the Great Apologizer, because instead of saying, "What you are doing is wrong", he tries to tell enemy countries what they want to hear, even apologizing to Mexico for us having immigration laws, instead of chiding them for breaking them, or apologizing to France for killing Saddam, paying 20 BILLION to Brazil to develop oil that we aren't getting a drop of, etc.

  • @EPGAH If that is the case then why invade, after all the Taliban had a stranglehold on opium production. This was taken off with the invasion and now their is more opium flooding out of there than before.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 I consider both killing women and children who want to learn AND drug-production evil. You seem to be saying we should give one a pass if it stops the other?

  • Oh shut the fuck up..You believe that war is justified only when we are threatened.

Guess what..Most people agree with that position.

History has proven that Christians slaughtered for fun (Burning of witches, destruction of the Ancient Greek civilization,Burning of the Library of Alexandria).

  • @Stevoukos He never said he agreed with that...........

  • @007chucknorris007 But he did.Watch the video agian.. 1:15-1:22

  • @Stevoukos No, I mean agreed with Christians killing for fun.

  • @007chucknorris007 Nope he didn't agreed with that. But he is a fucking hypocrite. He uses the example of Nero to show that through out history everyone blamed the Christians.

That is a fucking lie and history proves this.

  • @Stevoukos Don't quite think thats how he meant it by okay. I think that he was trying to show the irony in the peace symbol, and that war is the answer sometimes.

  • @007chucknorris007 I'm sure it is.But it's really stupid to say that those who want peace are stupid people.War is probably the EPITOMY of stupidity.

  • @Stevoukos I don't think anybody here "WANTS" war.

  • @007chucknorris007 Well Crowder really thinks that : " War is good for.. a lot".

That's just a stupid and evil statement.Yes under some conditions war is a solution. The real question is: Should it be?The answer is no.

And that is what people like Crowder don't get.Anti-war movements never stated that " We shouldn't fight Hitler and the Nazis".What they believe is that we must fight for a future where war ceases to exist.

  • @Stevoukos I don't think war will ever cease to exist. Oh and saying that "War is good for....a lot." Is much different than saying that you like war. Yes we would all like to live in a world where there isn't any wars, but "people like Crowder" understand that that will probably never happen. And actually some of the Anti-War movement people are really psycho, I'm sure some of them believe that we shouldn't have had a war with Nazi-Germany.

  • @007chucknorris007 I'm sure that some "Peae psychopaths" believe that.Just like some enviromentalist freaks that believe that animal testing for drugs is bad.

But still Crowder is wrong for saying that "Christians are the victims" or that the peace movement is anti-christian.

    That's just not true.

  • @Stevoukos I agree, I think he mainly meant that that's how it started. The modern idea of peace is pretty delusional though.

  • @Stevoukos At risk of being trite about it, those who beat their swords into plowshares get run through by those who don't. America told Britain to go fuck themselves, rather than get tied up in WWII--until Japan attacked us and got us involved!

Or the Moslem attacks, not just the spectacular 9/11, but the USS Cole, and a lot of ones that were quietly thwarted. Should they have let it happen just so that the public could see how warlike the Moslem Cult is? Would that quiet the peaceniks?

  • @Stevoukos Funny you should mention that, I had an argument with a guy on another thread who said that America was "evil" for "interfering" with Hitler's Germany, Russia, and Japan!

  • Also, your disparaging of peace is especially ironic considering that Jesus has the title "Prince of Peace."

As far as I know, the Gospels say nothing on the subject of war, but the overall message is one of nonviolence. There is certainly not a single passage in the Gospels that suggests that Christians should be violent, even in retaliation or resistance. It seems to me that a Christian true to his roots would be radically anti-war.

  • "What is war good for? Actually a lot."

Nope, war is good for nothing. The argument you put forth here is only applicable if there has already been aggression (or possibly the threat of aggression?). In other words, you agree that war is inherently bad; you just think (like most people) that you should fight back when you have to.

You're not as original as you think you are.

  • The bit about Nero's cross is highly dubious and propagated almost exclusively by fringe evangelical Christians and conspiracy theorists, and weakens your overall message here substantially.

  • Steven you're a true American Patriot. God bless you bro!

  • good for you

  • to all the little libs out there peace is responsible for the most horrific examples of historical bloodshed check out stalins rusia, pol pots khmer rouge moas takeover of china joblots of people were killed in peace time more than the battle of the bulge normandy hiroshima and nagasaki all put together.

  • i'm with you steven. the beetles suck and lennon especially

  • U know the storie u made about the NEro Cross is false, right?

  • @yetitracker pussy boy...thats it..keep listening to your moma..lol..

  • Here he is, the biggest douche in the universe. In all the galaxies, theres no bigger douche than you. Youve reached the top, the pinnacle of douchedom. Good going, douche. Your dreams have come true.

  • Lol this guy's facts are so wrong.

  • @tehfreshpersianprinc Who cares about facts, son? Crowder is obviously whoring himself out for attention like a proud conservative would! Like the bible says "Fuck facts" Doucheronomy 9:11

  • why is it that you dont think peace should exist just because the people advocating it arent one of your friends? you seem very close minded at almost every topic you discuss because you look at the figure head and not the banner. people who advocate peace are generally better people, i know a family and they are former hippies. nicest people i know. and most families i have met who support war or are true christians are very ignorant of the outside world. so before you talk look around.

  • @fataxe1 sorry, but your just a dumbass, for that comment.

  • @sidfu2 how? its true, i lok around and everyone who could give zero fucks about everything are hippies. they have jobs, they are clean and are smarter people. the jewish people i know dont advocate war and they are very smart people. to me, not everyone im saying, christians with money support war. they have the guns and they want to blow up everything. i know it sounds stupid but thats how it looks.

  • seiyaku.com/customs/crosses/broken.html

the above website appears to harbor some interesting material, including the origins of similar shapes and even hand gestures. Of course, given the free reign of internet posting, there's no real guarantee that the 'facts' are reliable, but it seems at least a bit more stable than most. Try googling 'Nero's broken Cross'; it should be the first link that pops up. Hope it helps!

  • It seems you know very well how to get into a war, not very much how to get out or win one. Not to mention their are many ways to fight a war, and peace may be a more viable alternative. After all the U.S. and the Soviet Union didn't even fight a real war. The Closest they came to war was during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Not everything can be solved with war, and nowadays you can't use a land war to solve your problems.

  • Also, the peace sign scandal that you're talking about. Show proof.

The peace sign was made out of flag symbols for Nuclear Disarmament. Holding two flags down at either side " ^ " was the symbol for "N" and holding one flag straight up and one straight down " | " is the symbol for 'D." The circle encompassing it represents the earth. The sign started out as a symbol for Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in the UK.

  • "I used to be cruel to my woman, and physically—any woman. I was a hitter. I couldn't express myself and I hit. I fought men and I hit women. That is why I am always on about peace"

    -John Lennon

    Sheff, 1981

Don't tell me there aren't men on the war side that have hit their wives.

  • @ninjashade411 Ahh, you used to think. Why did you give it up?

  • @ninjashade411 Of course you're not. You know he's right so you're fleeing with your tail between your legs.

  • War isn't good or evil. It's just a tool like a gun or a pencil, and it can be used for good or for evil.

  • @Supermassively Well said.

  • War can technically be considred a good thing and the idea of world peace is impossible

  • You know that whatever you say some people will follow blindly ?

  • @ninjashade411 so we shouldnt have defied the British, We shouldnt have freed the slaves, We shouldnt have stopped the spread of Communism, We shouldnt have gone after Saddam when he invaded Kuwait, and we shouldnt have gone after Bin Laden and the global radical Muslim threat which still threatens the world.

  • @ninjashade411 tell that to the Holocaust survivors.

  • Peace through superior fire-power.

  • It's interesting how politics starts wars and is the only way to end wars. Both sides must agree to stop fighting. Now with the U.N. stating tons of rules on what can and can't be done wars can drag on for years. The long war goes on the more people will die. And at a certain point someone will cave and let the other side win because the citizens are tired of seeing dead soldiers. Here's my rule of war: you can do to POWs what you are doing to your own troops in training.

  • what an idiot..ignorant.

  • Wow! He said that the peace symbol's origin was Nero's cross like it was the absolute truth, and like there was no dispute. He completely ignored the more likely origin of the the peace symbol being the sign of Nuclear Disarmament. I can't believe he had the balls to attempt to mislead us like that. For those who believe his origin for the peace symbol, google "Peace Sign Origins" and look at the results. I think you'll be convinced that he his origin is false.

  • Most people agree that this treaty is the cause of WW2 and Hitlers rise to power. If we had mad the Treaty of Versailles more reasonable for Germany, the Nazi party would not have gained power, and would just be a small group, therefor, my solution had a similar effect of the WW in stopping the Nazis. The difference is that over 50 million people wouldn't have had to lay down their lives for it. If we went back in time, which solution would you choose? Peace or War?

  • Yes, I agree that violence is sometimes the answer, but it should be used as a last resort, when nothing else will fix the problem. One of Steven's examples of how war helped is that in WW2 it stopped Nazi Germany. Now I say "Hurray!" for stopping Nazi Germany, but theres another, peaceful way we could have done it. This would be to make the Treaty of Versailles less harsh.

  • "peace through strength" - Ronald Reagans simple easy to understand foreign policy.

  • Oh, and nice Godwin's Law btw...

  • Nope! First, Nero is only assumed to have killed Peter and Paul. There is no direct evidence, and in fact some sources state he did not. Second, the cross for Peter was merely an upside-down one (see St. Peter's cross) not one upside-down in a 'V'. Finally, Peter was believed to have asked for this type of crucifixion himself, because he did not believe himself worthy to die in the same way as Jesus. Nice try though...

  • @ThatHaloGuy117 Yep that's true, but also if it wasn't for liberals there wouldn't be an America. And I'm not against war. The American Revolution was a just war. A war that had to be fought. Same with WWII. However, unlike Stephen, who preaches that violence solves mostly all problems, I believe that violence and war are usually not a necessity, such as WWI.

  • This man is a smug, exaggerated, ignorant, vile human being. This is a perfect example of hypocritical American conservative religious fabrication. Nero? Fuck, mate, do some real research before you preach your bullshit.

  • calling the beatles crap is simply blasphemy, wow i hate you steven crowder

  • John Lennon was a conservative!!!!!

  • One thing Liberal assholes, if it weren't for war, there wouldn't be an America.

  • What the hell does Lennon have to do with anything?

  • hey did you hear John Lennon was a closet Reaganite? Weird huh?

  • THE BEATLES ARE AWESOME FUCK YOU!!!!

  • You already took all my answers :(

  • Although what you said about John Lennon's hypocrisy about Communism was correct. Especially since Communism is foolish and has always ended in failure whereas Capitalism has brought prosperity for the majority. Look at the poor people in a Capitalist society compared to the poor people in Soviet Russia, North Korea, Somalia (yes it was Communism)

  • Also there's a difference between defense against force and using aggression. In war innocents die in order to get to the target which would never be acceptable in any other role of policing. A police officer would never be allowed to kill a bunch of innocent people to get to one guy.

  • The creator of this video is using the Broken Window fallacy.

  • violence is the answer I agree especially when fighting for your freedom.

And for all you liberals "It is better to be violent if their is violence in our hearts then to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence"....... Gandhi

  • @auritone oh sorry I got that mixed up with another type of cross.

  • Not to mention legal prosecution.

  • i never thought i see the day that a christian is backing up war. WWJD?

  • I agree with the message, but the John Lennon bashing was uncalled for. Making fun of his personal life is fine, but to make fun of his music, and to not even get his voice right is just a disgrace to his name. And the song "Imagine" was a speculation song. He wanted people to think what life would be like without religion, possession, countries, and ideals we take for granted. Now, whether he wanted these ideals abolished is up for interpretation.

  • so damn right. to all the people who disagree, what do you think would happen to western civilization if "we gave peace a chance" and stopped defending ourselves (disbanded the military) anarchy? mass violence against the west? genocide? nooooo, are enemies would do that to us...would they?

  • how can you bash john lennon?? he started the beatles, the greatest band ever!! hes a legend. the beatles message and lennons were love and peace, how can u dislike that?

  • @BEARARMZ OMG guyz he hates john lennon! war is peace through different means.
