Aaaaah! A classic Russian Metal band called Credo once covered this piece, and I always wondered why the title translated to "In the style of Gaetano Pugnani". See -l1CrllwygY.
Piers Lane is a really underrated pianist. The Henselt Etudes would be a prime example of his great musical and technical merit. Personally I've always enjoyed the section at 2:54 onwards, especially the section where the violin is playing double notes. Not quite sure what the go-to recording of this is but this version is impeccable!
I'm glad you like it, I think it's beautiful. I see you're from Zagreb, I know it quite well, I had an ex girlfriend from Croatia. She was from Samobor, not too far from you. Croatia'a a lovely country.

@jashugan007 I'm a singer, so tend to listen to vocal music. I caught this on public radio.
I'd never heard it before. For some reason the part I caught sounded like Bach to me.
I was in the car. I waited for it to end so I could get the name. I listened to versions
on youtube. Tasmine Little (whom I'd never even previously heard of) is MY FAVORITE, same as you.
Absolutely brilliant sound phrasing WOW! And Piers Lane (whom I also had never heard of is wonderful.)
