I wonder if there are any women who don't think in terms of sexiness. The likelihood hood of having someone wanting to have sex or view you as sexy shouldnt have a bearing on the overall self. eh, but thats why I dont have a girlfriend. I like substance.
The drums and atmoshere give a similar vibe to Where I End And You Begin by Radiohead. This is probably one of my favorite styles of music; ten thousand layers of reverb and hypnotic rythym.
sorry but this is overrated... give the band an oxymoron name, throw in some mixed racial band members, twist some genre, put in some weird as vocal, and u'll get a bunch of hipster wanna-be going ga ga
I've always loved Yeah Yeah Yeahs, except for It's Blitz, which was extremely disappointing for me on the whole. The other two bands I just checked out, and they seem a bit too strange for me. Thanks anyway for the suggestions though.
hah yeah they are mostly strange...lol. Just thought of another, The Raveonettes. Someone recommended me them since I loved the Yeah Yeah Yeahs so might work for you too!
You´re just upset because you´re getting old. Don´t worry though...you´re still the coolest legitmate aging hipster in the world. I´m glad you´ve been following them for the last 4 days.
well i've never seen the components of this band, and it's th first time I listen to this song.
I know nothing about their appareance or their genre or their skin colour... their name doesn't tell me so much, maybe cos Im spaniard and I think I dont understand the band name at all...
anyway, I'm loving the song :) the sounding is great.
Though I don't normally care for Christian rock - and this may not even be Christian rock - it's pretty good for something that implicitly refers to Jesus. I daresay, I actually like the song.
Amedeo and Simone Pace were born in Milan, grew up in Montreal (Saint-Léonard), but later moved to Boston to study jazz. After earning Bachelor's degrees, they entered the New York City underground music scene. Named after a song with the same title by DNA, a no wave band from New York, The Pace brothers and Japanese art students Kazu Makino and Maki Takahashi formed the band in 1993 after a chance meeting at an Italian restaurant in New York.
this is pretty cool...

:-) If you liked Electrelane, then maybe also "The Black Heart Procession" and "The Organ".

I like them both. I used to really like Silversun, but their latest album I found to be complete sellout bullshit.

well carnavass was muchbetter i think, but some of the songs on their new album aren't that bad!

My favorite album of theirs, actually, is Pikul.

Maybe try some of the songs from Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Cocteau Twins. They might be a couple songs from The Creatures that you would like too :)

Very cool, does anyone know if they were probably inspired for their bandname and songtitle by William Burroughs?
hanola7 2 years ago
I'm not sure about the song title, but they took their band name from a song by a no-wave band called DNA.
chrisatdrone 2 years ago
why would you say that?
Darkcore2008 2 years ago
probably because Burroughs was really interested in the number 23 he claimed that everything in the world at the end crash to that number...
