I hear him play music. I hear him improvise his classics in music of the moment. Like great jazz musicians. I hear him abandon 'comfort zone'. I hear transients. I hear him treat the guitar like a string instrument, instead of cowardly filtering it until it could just as well have been an electronic keyboard. I hear him be one with the guitar, instead of hearing 'training'. I hear alacrity, phrasing, drama, passion, energy. I hear metal music. What do u want? "Clean" notes?
ok, I'm obviously getting flamed in a very sophisticated manner... look, I love this song, it IS my favorite YJM song. But if you compare it to his other live performances you'll notice there is a few notes I would consider missed. Just because he is a guitar god doesn't mean he can't make mistakes, 1 mistake-ok, 2 mistakes-it can happen to anyone, but more than a few to me is considered sloppy.Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's not awesome. But in this vid he really could have done better
I never saw a cd so very bad mixed!!If I was Yngwie will do a new mix! Roy Z destroyed perpetual flame...if he is tired to do editions, stop with this!! So many noises and dirty before and after the solos...and the voice...well this great friend of Halford fucked Tim!!
He keeps changing the tempo. Awesome pieces though!

Beautiful music, Malmsteen is a genius. I think his best playing was on the Odysee tour back in the 80's, when he was still trying new things.
