I think that when I do them, I don't think of them as *notes* as such - just imagine how you want them to sound, just practice getting that quick 3-2 sound on it's own first, and then just kind of "throw" them in. Don't concentrate too hard on doing it, because they should just be incidental to the main melody line. Sorry - that probably doesn't help much!!!

btw.... try to articulate your bass part.... err like ermm.... make the repeated notes softer and the arhh nvm... let me just write it

err What i really meant is bring out the note F, A, F,A,etc . the C note just go lighter... if you don't get what i meant then nvm... It's not easy to explain =S
