@max8987 a little harsh, when he was interviewed he said many times he didnt find food in the places he thought he would; but what would be the point in showing that, it happens, but its edited out.... if it is fake then its the producers at fault, not bear grylls, they want viewings; he was in the sas and a survival expert, but often survival isnt interesting, it could involve a lot of walking and little else, the producers have to find something else to keep it interesting

Hi, part of what you said about making circular movements with your legs is right. The first step is to try to lean back immediately. Then once you can get your legs to move use circular (bike peddling) motions to push yourself out backwards. It works
