I find it aggravating and consuming that (an) Asian parent(s) urgently pressure children into prestigious jobs. Such as medicine, law, science, bureaucratic or government. These are all good jobs, but some people are better off finding other types of work.
Although, I think it is reasonable for any parent to constructively talk to their children about future careers. Just to inform thoughts and realities over the matter.
