Just so people are clear, the sound guy didn't make the vocals sound bad. They did that all by themselves. I love this band and their musicianship even at their live shows but the backing vocals are always terrible. They can definitely afford to hire a few extra singers for a tour. If I was the sound guy, I would have turned those vocal mics down all night.

The Rev wrote all the drum parts, and Mike kept as close to them as he could. All the beats in the song are the Rev's invention and probably a bunch of the fills too. If he touched them in anyway besides that, it's improv on a show. Everyone woulda killed him if he had rewritten anything.
