  • Every Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, TOKiMONSTA, & Shigeto video i go to people are always arguing about how dubstep has a lot of influence in the music. No it doesn't ! The only thing THIS has in common with dubstep is that its break beat but as for the rest of it its 99.9% Hip-Hop influence in this ! No "post dubstep" shit so everybody just shut the fuck up & enjoy the damn music ! -.-

  • @Basshead44Official So you think there has been no rise in offbeat garage style tracks in the wake of dubstep? What about Burial i.e. as in one of the most popular/acclaimed producers of the last couple years?

I like how you listed some of the most prominent producers like you were trying to establish yourself as someone very knowledgeable in this field. "Hip-hop", do explain? I bet you think MF doom invented that genre...

  • @TimeForBold hmmm.. yes & i also like how you try to twist my words. Did i at any point claim to have a well knowledge of dubstep? I didn't think so buddy. & I was simply stating that if you go to these videos all these morons are on it saying Hip-Hop based songs are influenced by dubstep. When they're just song that have been influenced mainly by early hip-hop.

  • @Basshead44Official Well if you don't have a "well knowledge" of dubstep don't say make such sweeping statements?

Also I think this genre of music is more directly descended from house since it essentially is house, I also really don't know what hip hop you are referring to, another of your cover-all opinions...

  • in the end i doubt sam would not give two about what genre his music fell into its electronic its good who cares about where else it sits if anything its offensive putting peoples art in a category house dubstep post dubstep deep youtube is full of these arguments !

  • four tet brought me here

  • @Campbell318 how?

  • this is cool and i like this.

  • destroyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • OMG so deeeeeeeeep. I only wish I could hear this out of big speakers from a dj but I might have to be on a beach in Ibiza for that to happen. maybe next summer.

  • One of the best tracks I've heard all year

  • @smoyzil Along with Mouves by Tropics

  • What do u call this style of music, I really would love to hear more songs like this and artist

  • @2BecomethebestDrumer ambient techno would be closest

  • @2BecomethebestDrumer If you want to go back to basics try Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Volume 1 if you havn't already. All this type of music is bunched together as 'IDM' (Intelligent Dance Music).

  • @2BecomethebestDrumer

With what TimeForBold suggested, I'd add "Baiyon", and "PantyRaid". I just discovered "Holy Other", which could be somewhat similar. Maybe even "Download" (album "III") and Clams Casino.

  • @2BecomethebestDrumer my friend, this is simply categorized as "deep house".. i know, as it is one of my favourite genres

    enjoy!.. ;)

  • beautiful track

  • Thats one of my favourite basslines ever.

  • shut the fuck up and stop feeling the need to genrefy stuff.. it is what it is, really real yo

  • nice!!

  • This is ambient house. And also excellent.

  • If you like this,

    definitely check out Oriol

    his stuff is amazing

  • Gets pretty loud around 3:55. Please be advised

  • fuzzy eyebrows

  • what genre is this? boogie woogie

  • @ridethecamel626 you're retarded, it's dubstep you asshole

  • @Alphamax08 Actually, it's deep house

  • @Alphamax08 haha funny comment.. coz ur totally wrong.. this is not dubstep.. if u wanna know what dubstep is look for docter p, trolley snatcha, mt eden and guys like that..

  • @dvm2215 please tell me you're trolling

  • Comment removed

  • @djredi2step why shud i be trolling? this is not dubstep itself.. this is post-dubstep.. a subgenre from dubstep..

  • @dvm2215 Its UK house. FP, julio Basmore, Joy Orbison all make UK house. i cant see any link wiith dubstep apart from maybe the garage influence in the drums. This is closer to disco than dubstep. DR P snatcha and mt eden aren't dubstep. they produce mid range cack. Dubstep is meant to be stripped of midrange and makes use of silence and suspense. Music with a massive wobble in it cannot possibly dubstep.

  • @djredi2step joy orbison makes dubstep but aye..this, julio bashmore, for sure uk house, all about the rhythm, the step

  • @stefscommando Joy O's last 2 or 3 EP's were all under 130bpm and 4 to the floor. just saying. have you heard elipsis

  • @dvm2215 You havent got a clue mate. Post Dubstep! The most wanky term I have ever heard! This is just house. Leave it at that stuff like this existed 15 years ago before dubstep. You guys need to stop trying to make up terms for music it only alienates. Just enjoy it

  • @paddywishbone dude i have no idea why i said that. And I already know I was totaly wrong. You don't have to push it...

  • @paddywishbone listen to it with a sub and you'll know why its dubstep and not house.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlexKlinger It's house dude, not that it matters anyway

  • @paddywishbone

Totally agree mate, I also heard about "new dubstep scene"... Seriously guys...

  • @paddywishbone no you're totally right man. In fact, why not pigeon hole it at all and just call it all 'music'. Oh wait, I know, because you wouldn't know what the fuck everyone was talking about half the time. That's like saying there's no point naming meals, just call them all 'food'. Well it doesnt really work like that does it, people enjoy building subcultures and scenes out of the music they enjoy, and like to be able to relate to others into similar stuff.

  • @andrewxmets I didnt say don't name music genres. I was merely saying that this particular title of Post Dubsteb is a meaningless one. It is basically implying that a part or subgenre of dubstep has changed to a new form that it can no longer be classes as typical dubstep. This is utter nonsense with this tune as it sounds exactly like music that came out 20 years ago. The person who create the term doesn't have a clue in my opinion.

  • @Alphamax08 if this is dubstep, George Bush is a democrat

  • @TheRealManzilla This is post-dubstep.

  • Amazing.

  • where this music genre
