The sound of the Soloviev D-30KP beats the sound of any Pratt and Whitney JT8 or JT3 or Rolls Royce Avon/Tay/or Spey out there. I just love the sound of those engines. It must be sad to have these giant Russian Boeing 727s go! These are equally as beautiful as the 727.
