Just came back from a holiday in Turkey (I am from Norway), and what popped into my head, "hey, lets see if i can find me some turkish bm", and guess what, I found it in tadpole clusters (anyone seen a cluster of those eggs?), further on, this (Ilkim Oulanem) is among the best (even better than episode 13...check it out btw). I dont care where black metal is from, as long as it is true black metal, antireligous, with a hint of scornful, then I will have a listen, and this is topnotch btw!!
@humanrights85 Yeah sounds great but one thing.. weve seen enough of turky, in future you people better go and show other states what you are (if they want to nor or not, as if YOU would care) no probz with turks, but shit on you faggot fanboi peace and justice suckerss.

@iEatBoneDust Well you can be nice towards people like Turks? Has any Turk said you that you motherfucker trying to act like a human? Monkey! I mean just don't be so motherfucker like that. We will count you as a Human.

Its good! Over in this part of the planet we like the real metal shit, you may know what im talking about. America is alot of things, and metal as fuck is one of them. trust, we know, i know at least., Im straight black metal, and im not talking the genre, im talking the race. she has the skill, i could see her on a chthonic, winds of plague, whitechapel tour. thats whats up. @xdeadfoursmetalx Like fuck they do. You've got a hand full of decent bands in comparison to the rest of the world and black metal is defo' not a genre thats got anything to do with America since they have no history to follow, never mind trying to relate their ancestry to paganism...numpty.
@FaceOfMyInnocence Maybe you should not talk about things that you have no knowledge of. First of all America is a YOUNG country but we have plenty of history. Most of it is bloody and filled with death and glory. Americans (except for natives) all have ancestry that came from Europe Etc. Therefor most of us can relate to our pagan Ancestry just as much or more than you. We have more than a handful of bands as well Fuckwad.
@tranquilizedaz death and glory? wot glory? wot us and a did to indians is nothing to be proud of, theres no glory in that. and the rest of ur history u basicly fought brother against brother.. its tru that us and a got alota bands, i like alot of `em but not black metal. i think its kinda racist to say that most of you ami`s came from europe when most of you guys come from africa/mexico. and why young? and why do you write young with caps? ucraine is a young country too and yet so very old ++
@bobbyrhymeswithhobby wHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? Racist??? Most of us come from Mexico and Africa???? You have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. What we did to Indians is the same thing that the Countries of Europe have been doing for thousands of years. Its called War and conquer for territory. Do you realize you mispelled your own Country(Ukraine). No wonder the proud Russians I have met think so little of the Ukraine.!!!!!!!!
@FaceOfMyInnocence Uh...You don't even know what you're talking about. America has more black metal bands than the rest of the world. Ours are just ridiculously underrated, especially here in America. And another you don't know what you're talking about on the paganism. If it weren't for ManOwar paganism would never be as influential in metal as it is now. Good American bands get no radio play, get no recognition, the problem is so much crap is produced here it overshadows the good stuff.
@purplesquirrl They've probably got more fat man bikes, takeaways and kids of Ritalin than the rest of the world does that mean they conquer those scenes too? Lol Massive shit on your arguement.
@purplesquirrl Yeah, our radio stations fucking suck. Black Metal is seen as such a disgrace because of the extraordinary number of devout Christians here... or at least where I live, in the southern region. I'll be out of here in a couple years.
@SinisterxSinner Ah man that sucks. Yeah, where I live (near seattle) there's a lot of good death and black metal bands, but its all underground, you would never hear of them if you didn't go to the concerts...And yeah about the Christians...gets...tiring...after a while.
@LadyGrimm00 I don't think i understand what you are getting at. Are you saying that the true native American's own the North American black metal scene? or did you just reply to the wrong person?
@FaceOfMyInnocence That is exactly what i meant we have a deep roots,that go back for thousands of years,and we have felt the oppression of our holy grounds being reduced to ash,not all americans,can say that. But please dont assume all americans cannot relate to black metal.Im not sure if that was an ignorant comment or just a misinformed one.
@LadyGrimm00 I'd probably say you are a minority in that country now so the statement is still true but honestly, I want to hear some Native American Black Metal with traditional instruments point me in the right direction because that sounds mint.
@FaceOfMyInnocence Check out Black Circle "Skinwalker". "Nibeaskweda" - Nåthruzym is another,this is one that utilizes tribal flute. Native American is one of the smaller cultures in the U.S. but still going strong. I do however enjoy metal from around the globe...such as this project that we are commenting on.
Pretty retarded comment. An American can "relate their ancestry to paganism" just as well as anyone else since Americans either go back to the old world, or natives who were pagan far more recently than any Brit. I'm American and I have proven descent from the Rus pagan Sviatoslav of Kiev (32x great grandfather), and the shamanist Hungarian queen Elizabeth the Cuman.
@RaynauddeChatillon Proven to nobody and 1 out of 300 million doesn't sway anybodies vote me old. Here is my interpretation of what you just coughed on your screen. "I'm a stereotypical yank so I automatically think I have a connection to everybody and my great uncle Terrance from Brookside knows a kebab maker who invented the chicken kiev" None of it you can prove to me over the internet so you may as well just stop trying lol Tell your arl' fella that his garlic butter efforts are bang tidy
Actually it is proven, there is something called genealogy, ever heard of it? In order to prove descent from these pagans it suffices to prove descent from John of Gaunt, son of Edward III. In order to do this it suffices to prove descent from one of several colonial immigrants who have proven and published descents from John of Gaunt. If you simply typed my great grandfather's name into google you would find an article by a professional genealogist who has done just this
1/300 million lol. An English person in Britain, who has mixed Anglo-Saxon, Briton, Norman French, and Scandinavian ancestry (depending upon what part of the country they're from) has no more pagan ancestry than an English person living in New England. White people did not just magically appear in America lol. Most Anglo, French, and Dutch Americans can easily trace back to their immigrant ancestors in the 1600s.
@RaynauddeChatillon I never said Britain did, did I? Sounds like I hit a nerve there with your two replies which is pretty hilarious. I wasn't the one proclaiming that my country was metal as fuck and knows metal was I? All my replies relate to that so wind your neck in you fucking cretin
Britain serves as an example, relevant in this case because my line to Sviatoslav and the Cumans is British. None of my comments mention the quality of British metal, so I really don't know what nerve you are talking about. Clearly you're confused and unable to defend your ridiculous comment that I originally replied to.
@RaynauddeChatillon I defended it well by pretty much saying you are talking shit. "An American can "relate their ancestry to paganism" just as well as anyone else since Americans either go back to the old world, or natives who were pagan far more recently than any Brit." remember that? It's an argument that defeats it's self because you were talking about Britain's relevance to paganism which wasn't the topic. The history comment still stands and you've not proven shit all by the looks of it
Britain is an example, substitute any other country in the world and it still stands lol, therefore your history comment does not. Again, Non native American people did not just magically appear in America. Virtually all non adopted Americans can genealogically trace back to immigrants from certain countries thereby connecting them with their ancestry and the histories of those countries up until the time their ancestor immigrated (and therefore to pagan times lol).
@RaynauddeChatillon Non-native "Americans" wouldn't be connected to Paganism as the non-native population was never Pagan in America. If it was ancestry then they'd be native to their own country and not America. So the comment about America is still true. Also you are a young country and don't even have a fraction of history connected to yourselves compared to most places on the planet so the vast population of the countries were pagan at one time, same can't be said about yourselves
Again, your argument rests on the false premise that Non-native Americans magically appeared in America. Non-Native Americans' ancient ancestors were pagans, their more recent Christian ancestors moved to America, a land that was pagan in the early 17th century. Compare that to say, a Norwegian, whose ancestors were Christian since the late 11th century, who moved to Sweden, a country that has been Christian since the 12th century.
According to your flawed method of thinking that Norwegian would be even less qualified to make black metal than the typical American lol. Similarly, this Turk's Muslim ancestors moved to Anatolia, a Christian land. Maybe you will realize that this is retarded for another reason since the quality of black metal does not correlate to paganism since many of the best black metal bands constantly sing about Satan, a Judeo-Christian fallen angel.
@RaynauddeChatillon Lol two posts again. Listen, if you didn't get it before I really couldn't give two shits about it. You may as well just say we are all from Africa. I think that's what you were getting at.
@RaynauddeChatillon Translation of your posts: I now realise that i have no history in America and the comment you made sits too true to me so i have decided to tell you about people not belonging to America that are apart of my ancestry but try and indirectly slander your own country to try and prove my point in a video created in Turkey.
Oh my, two posts. I see it took you about a week to do such a stunningly subtle analysis and come up with your ingeniously crafted response. However, I'm sure it's because you were busy slaying dragons or occupied in some other noble pursuit...
@RaynauddeChatillon Nah, working. Our lass told me i should write back instead of just conversing with her and having a good chuckle so i did. It's basically exactly what i told you earlier just put in to the same context as you wrote apart from taking away the typographical lol Slaying dragons? where did you make that shit up from? My names not St.George and i'm not Turkish me old. I don't think it was stunning or subtle either by the way and i doubt anybody else does.
Calm down I was joking, slaying dragons is a sarcastic reference to the typical self aggrandizing responses many commentators give when asked what took them so long.
For the record I completely agree that British history is far greater than American. An American who traces the majority of his family lines to a certain country at a certain time can relate to that country's history and culture from that time and before.
@RaynauddeChatillon I thought slaying dragons was about Turkish saints? either that or a smackhead who has lost the war on his addiction and failed at chasing the dragon.
Slaying dragons most definitely does not refer to any Turkish saints. St. George was born in the 3rd century, was said to be of Roman origin, and lived in Greek/Roman Anatolia, a land that would not see the plague of Turks for hundreds of years.
Calling St. George a Turk is as ridiculous as calling Constantine the Great a Serb. Neither lands at that time had anything to do with Turkic or Serbian people.
@RaynauddeChatillon You do realise the place where he was born (Cappadocia) is now Turkey right? He also lived in Palestine. You are basically running along the lines of that if someone was conceived in occupied Europe during the second world war then they would be German. Stop reading and start thinking. You are talking bollocks for the sake of arguing because you are a sceptic, you sceptics are all the same. Go tickle your sisters beard me old.
@FaceOfMyInnocence Certainly not. People living in German occupied Europe were the same ethnicity as their parents. We would not call George Washington Wicomico (tribe of Native American) even though he was born in their ancestral homeland. The majority of Turkish people are not descendants of early Anatolians, but rather descendants of the barbarians who destroyed their great civilization and created a backward muslim empire on its rubble that eunichized people and waged war on Christians.
@RaynauddeChatillon They wouldn't have wiped the entire place out mate. We are all built like that in some shape or form but then we all adopt a certain name. British, American, Turkish...I think you'll probably see what I am getting at. Since we are so off topic though and I do like historical banter I'd have to say we'll leave it there. Turns out this debate was pretty interesting though so not a massive waste of time after all. See ya' later fella.
@embracedbyfrost I don't think you actually read the progression of this so i won't reply with any meaning as what you've just said has already been mentioned and answered.
@FaceOfMyInnocence So what about me and the thousands of other European-Americans that still feel a kinship with European people and the land? Are you saying that it is ridiculous to do so?
@iEatBoneDust Yes, massively and funnily enough more people agree than disagree. If your family had the same passion for any European country they originated from they would actually still be there now. Same applies to yourself. If you feel so connected to your origin, where are you living? It's certainly not a hard thing to pack up and fuck off. Sounds like a lot of words and no action to me, meaning it's a load of bollocks. Also sounds like clutching at straws.
@FaceOfMyInnocence I could not agree with you more. There could, maybe, be someone with Native American Indian blood, who could probably churn out some good black metal... but I don't see why that genre would appeal to them... they have other good folk music... so, fuckin' well said.
@StateSecretSquirrel Of course, it's a minority in their case isn't it since most of the Black Metal bands from America have no ties what so ever to anything black metal stood for in it's origin. Some Americans just can't seem to understand blatant truth sadly.
Amazing.

What we did to Indians is the same thing that the Countries of Europe have been doing for thousands of years. Its called War and conquer for territory. Do you realize you mispelled your own Country(Ukraine). No wonder the proud Russians I have met think so little of the Ukraine.!!!!!!!!
tranquilizedaz 1 year ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence Uh...You don't even know what you're talking about. America has more black metal bands than the rest of the world. Ours are just ridiculously underrated, especially here in America. And another you don't know what you're talking about on the paganism. If it weren't for ManOwar paganism would never be as influential in metal as it is now. Good American bands get no radio play, get no recognition, the problem is so much crap is produced here it overshadows the good stuff.
purplesquirrl 1 year ago
@purplesquirrl They've probably got more fat man bikes, takeaways and kids of Ritalin than the rest of the world does that mean they conquer those scenes too? Lol Massive shit on your arguement.
FaceOfMyInnocence 1 year ago
@purplesquirrl Yeah, our radio stations fucking suck. Black Metal is seen as such a disgrace because of the extraordinary number of devout Christians here... or at least where I live, in the southern region. I'll be out of here in a couple years.
SinisterxSinner 1 year ago
@SinisterxSinner Ah man that sucks. Yeah, where I live (near seattle) there's a lot of good death and black metal bands, but its all underground, you would never hear of them if you didn't go to the concerts...And yeah about the Christians...gets...tiring...after a while.
purplesquirrl 1 year ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence You are forgetting about the true American natives and not your leftover filth that happens to float over on a tire!
LadyGrimm00 10 months ago
@LadyGrimm00 I don't think i understand what you are getting at. Are you saying that the true native American's own the North American black metal scene? or did you just reply to the wrong person?
FaceOfMyInnocence 10 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence That is exactly what i meant we have a deep roots,that go back for thousands of years,and we have felt the oppression of our holy grounds being reduced to ash,not all americans,can say that. But please dont assume all americans cannot relate to black metal.Im not sure if that was an ignorant comment or just a misinformed one.
LadyGrimm00 10 months ago
@LadyGrimm00 I'd probably say you are a minority in that country now so the statement is still true but honestly, I want to hear some Native American Black Metal with traditional instruments point me in the right direction because that sounds mint.
FaceOfMyInnocence 10 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence Check out Black Circle "Skinwalker". "Nibeaskweda" - Nåthruzym is another,this is one that utilizes tribal flute. Native American is one of the smaller cultures in the U.S. but still going strong. I do however enjoy metal from around the globe...such as this project that we are commenting on.
LadyGrimm00 10 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon Proven to nobody and 1 out of 300 million doesn't sway anybodies vote me old. Here is my interpretation of what you just coughed on your screen. "I'm a stereotypical yank so I automatically think I have a connection to everybody and my great uncle Terrance from Brookside knows a kebab maker who invented the chicken kiev" None of it you can prove to me over the internet so you may as well just stop trying lol Tell your arl' fella that his garlic butter efforts are bang tidy
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
If you simply typed my great grandfather's name into google you would find an article by a professional genealogist who has done just this
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon I never said Britain did, did I? Sounds like I hit a nerve there with your two replies which is pretty hilarious. I wasn't the one proclaiming that my country was metal as fuck and knows metal was I? All my replies relate to that so wind your neck in you fucking cretin
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
Britain serves as an example, relevant in this case because my line to Sviatoslav and the Cumans is British. None of my comments mention the quality of British metal, so I really don't know what nerve you are talking about. Clearly you're confused and unable to defend your ridiculous comment that I originally replied to.
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon I defended it well by pretty much saying you are talking shit. "An American can "relate their ancestry to paganism" just as well as anyone else since Americans either go back to the old world, or natives who were pagan far more recently than any Brit." remember that? It's an argument that defeats it's self because you were talking about Britain's relevance to paganism which wasn't the topic. The history comment still stands and you've not proven shit all by the looks of it
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon Non-native "Americans" wouldn't be connected to Paganism as the non-native population was never Pagan in America. If it was ancestry then they'd be native to their own country and not America. So the comment about America is still true. Also you are a young country and don't even have a fraction of history connected to yourselves compared to most places on the planet so the vast population of the countries were pagan at one time, same can't be said about yourselves
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon Lol two posts again. Listen, if you didn't get it before I really couldn't give two shits about it. You may as well just say we are all from Africa. I think that's what you were getting at.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
Tanslation of your post: I now realize my inability to defend my original comment which was quite retarded.
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon I'll accept that if you want. Doesn't bother me bobby two posts. I found it all quite amusing.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon Translation of your posts: I now realise that i have no history in America and the comment you made sits too true to me so i have decided to tell you about people not belonging to America that are apart of my ancestry but try and indirectly slander your own country to try and prove my point in a video created in Turkey.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
Oh my, two posts. I see it took you about a week to do such a stunningly subtle analysis and come up with your ingeniously crafted response. However, I'm sure it's because you were busy slaying dragons or occupied in some other noble pursuit...
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon Nah, working. Our lass told me i should write back instead of just conversing with her and having a good chuckle so i did. It's basically exactly what i told you earlier just put in to the same context as you wrote apart from taking away the typographical lol Slaying dragons? where did you make that shit up from? My names not St.George and i'm not Turkish me old. I don't think it was stunning or subtle either by the way and i doubt anybody else does.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon I thought slaying dragons was about Turkish saints? either that or a smackhead who has lost the war on his addiction and failed at chasing the dragon.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon You do realise the place where he was born (Cappadocia) is now Turkey right? He also lived in Palestine. You are basically running along the lines of that if someone was conceived in occupied Europe during the second world war then they would be German. Stop reading and start thinking. You are talking bollocks for the sake of arguing because you are a sceptic, you sceptics are all the same. Go tickle your sisters beard me old.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence Certainly not. People living in German occupied Europe were the same ethnicity as their parents. We would not call George Washington Wicomico (tribe of Native American) even though he was born in their ancestral homeland. The majority of Turkish people are not descendants of early Anatolians, but rather descendants of the barbarians who destroyed their great civilization and created a backward muslim empire on its rubble that eunichized people and waged war on Christians.
RaynauddeChatillon 9 months ago
@RaynauddeChatillon They wouldn't have wiped the entire place out mate. We are all built like that in some shape or form but then we all adopt a certain name. British, American, Turkish...I think you'll probably see what I am getting at. Since we are so off topic though and I do like historical banter I'd have to say we'll leave it there. Turns out this debate was pretty interesting though so not a massive waste of time after all. See ya' later fella.
FaceOfMyInnocence 9 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence uhh yeah America does. do the Natives that lived here before european settlers invaded ring any bells?
embracedbyfrost 8 months ago
@embracedbyfrost I don't think you actually read the progression of this so i won't reply with any meaning as what you've just said has already been mentioned and answered.
FaceOfMyInnocence 8 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence So what about me and the thousands of other European-Americans that still feel a kinship with European people and the land? Are you saying that it is ridiculous to do so?
iEatBoneDust 8 months ago
@iEatBoneDust Yes, massively and funnily enough more people agree than disagree. If your family had the same passion for any European country they originated from they would actually still be there now. Same applies to yourself. If you feel so connected to your origin, where are you living? It's certainly not a hard thing to pack up and fuck off. Sounds like a lot of words and no action to me, meaning it's a load of bollocks. Also sounds like clutching at straws.
FaceOfMyInnocence 8 months ago
@FaceOfMyInnocence I could not agree with you more. There could, maybe, be someone with Native American Indian blood, who could probably churn out some good black metal... but I don't see why that genre would appeal to them... they have other good folk music... so, fuckin' well said.
StateSecretSquirrel 7 months ago
@StateSecretSquirrel Of course, it's a minority in their case isn't it since most of the Black Metal bands from America have no ties what so ever to anything black metal stood for in it's origin. Some Americans just can't seem to understand blatant truth sadly.
