I actually feel really bad for Dawson. I mean I get that he reacted poorly, but his best friend did get with the only girl that he has ever loved and then didn't tell him about it. I think that he has a right to be upset. I think that Pacey really should have told him a lot sooner when he developed feelings for Joey, then I don't think it would have hit Dawson so hard and he might have reacted better.

I think that if Dawson ended up with Joey, Joey would have been stuck in the same place. What I mean is that she had experienced being Dawson's friend for fifteen years and the fact was he didn't notice her for fifteen years and then he realizes that he does love her. But if you love somebody cant you just let them find their own path and still love them unconditionally. I think that is what Pacey does, he loves her without holding her back.

How could someone do that to the person he supposedly loves? If he truly, unselfishly loved her, he would want her to be happy. Even if that happiness was with someone else. Pacey loves her unconditionally, as seen in the series finale when he says that he will always love her and just wants her to be happy, no matter who see is with.

The first thing Dawson thinks of P/J was Pacey was all about sex. That shows right there how little Dawson thought of Pacey. The reason why Dawson was so mad (especially at Pacey) regarding that was he thought Pacey would pop Joey's cherry first. Dawson was her "soulmate" after all, and was destined to be her first. It explains why he is so possessive of her.

@markandlexie4ever Yeah I did. So? Did you see S3.Ep.Home Coming when Saint Dawson was on stage diddling Eve while Joey was looking on in the audience, thoroughly embarrassed (as she should be)? Especially after that, Joey didn't owe Dawson a darn thing with regards to saving herself for him. And, Dawson himself said he didn't want to go through it all again with Joey. So either he's a glutton for punishment, or he came to feel Joey should stand at his calling. It's both.
