  • Good job on those robots Kevin :-)

  • hes hilarious!

total annihilation was his greatest creation

  • asian guy doing concept art and design. Fuck yeah! Honestly they do it the best =)

  • yea blog's are good as well to give like comments on whats happening

+there just need to be castles in the game MASSIVE ONES

the word castle is in the title right?

and they want to make the biggest fantasy rts so they will need CASTLES!!!!!

  • lol "I think its time we met the team" best part

  • Man, these videos are awesome! :D :D

  • Awesome, great to see this! =)

  • hehe

  • Would love to see Evan team up with dotswarlock for story stuff.

  • So he's following up a big robot strategy game with a medieval strategy game? Again? That didn't go so well last time. I personally liked the TA: Kingdoms games (Zhon FTW!), but they sold so poorly the company went under.

  • Chris left Cavedog before they did TA:K!

  • @BornAcorn

Yes, because only man in the development team of dozens has any effect on the result.

Ok, to be honest I actually wasn't aware of that. I really don't buy into this "big name creator" thing at all (except for writers) and don't track them. It's not like the setting was TA:K's big problem anyway, I just thought the comparison was entertaining.

  • Great Video Chris! Must be fun to work over there :D

Keep up the awesome work and the fun blog!

  • please show us the modeling team behind supcom2, so we can know what kind of people came up with "oh we have got a war game here, why make the units all colorful and toys r us looking!"

  • compared to total annihilation, sup com had a "toys r us" look to em... at least to me who was a TA fan, SupCom 2 was scaled down i guess, made smaller and more CnC esque, some love it, some hate it... i do not love it as i prefer the TA style of gameplay, but thats my opinion.

Gonna play supcom2 for what it is, a larger than average RTS that runs well and looks good, if i need sup com scale, i will wait for mods or play modded sup com : p

  • Lol it must feel so bad to be introduced as the lead designer of Demigod. I bet Chris Taylor did that on purpose.

  • This is very entertaining to watch. ^^

  • Love these videos, please keep them coming! :)

  • Kevin! Peewee powah!

Did you do the Maverick, too? That sucker rocked!

  • I've actually been wondering: Will Kings & Castles come out on Consoles as well as PC?

  • PC and PS3

  • Where'd you get that Info from?

  • The press release for KnC says "next generation consoles" CT states in a video that i cant currently find that its for PC and PS3, (maybe 360, but only cos he didnt say it wasnt)

  • They are calling current generation consoles next generation consoles.

  • Wow that's cool, didn't know you still had original TA staff around.

  • YES

  • @saejox: think "console" and all will become clear...

  • I love these, Chris is a charismatic stallion.

I bet he gets all the ladies.

  • I still know next to nothing about the game itself, but I'm most likely going to buy it anyway, if only to see Chris Taylor do some more insane stunts for the sequel ;P.

Unless it has some restrictive DRM, of course...

  • i have question for you?

i just played supcom2 demo, Why did you change the resource management/unit building system?

now it's too generic and harder to manage larger number of units.

  • @saejox I dont think Chris agreed upon making supcom2 a downgraded, more casual, and more LEGO-ish than the original. Thats what i heard :|

  • yea supcom1 was like epic battles with like if you had 100 vs 100 they would die pretty fast which made it more fun now its to much hit a unit with 40 rockets and it still doesnt die afcorse i dont care for the experimental they where awesome i like the ac1000 though

  • Supcom 2 is awesome. I've played about 10 games online and I still don't see where people think it's lego's. And i've been in battles that are around 200 vs 200 and they have been massively epic.

  • i 100% agree with you now i have the game its really epic:)!
