I only played Hibs the years I played DAOC, but this looks like a lot of work. I can't tell you the amount of times we leveled toons to 50 in the Cursed Forest at the Fins camp. We would setup 4 Animist, FOP with a penny in the keyboard and just let it run. I don't know how we never got busted. We wouldn't have any group chat for hours at a time and especially when it was late we would fall asleep at the keyboards. Probably not the best thing for the game in the long run, but we had a blast.

Personally i preferred to stand in the middle of the camp and use the aoe str/con debuff to gather them (too bad it doesnt bother mobs anymore), could go for an hour like that before getting bored. But this way the low lvl is safer. Now i pull the witherwoodes for xp, can pull the whole forest with no problems.

if u guys miss the old icons and figures u can download bob custom ui and set wat u want and daoc made it possible to change the way the figures look by going into the options on the char select screen

Old Frontiers is coming back!

The freeshard Uthgard has decided to switch the RvR zone to complete Old Frontiers, they are working on it as we speak. Looks like Origins isn't so far away after all! ^^

Uthgard has a complete classic settings, no real customisations, new RAs and only classic + SI classes.

I remember taking my fire wiz to 50 off greater boogeys and water elementals. SI had been out for no more than a few months. I managed one level per day, .095 bubbles per pull. those were long days.

I remember my favorite spot was on Inishaill with my minstrel, with a scorcher pet from Dales of Devwy. Takes some effort to set it up, and you need a good healer to back it up, but you go to the north part with all the flies, stand in the right spot, make a pull and all of them start flying towards you... AOE massacre :-)P

Ahh, the good ol days of DAoC. I also remember doing this at fens on Hib Palomides. Druid with power font, afew animist, and pl toons lined up waiting for a spot. Hold down the shroom key with anything u could, watch tv, eat, sleep, whatever... fun times.

Also killing Hib dragon with 7-8 animist and a druid with powerfont, until they nerfed the shroom limit. Good ol days, I miss playing that game.

I used to do this all the time but in the SI camp with the Orc Finguards, maybe about 2 years ago. I also used to do it at this same spot as well. i found the Fins to be a bit better experience in the long run. I don't know how the exp system works as of recently but it took me a few days of non stop pulling to get to 50.. not 1 day
