Thumbs up if you agree that the Tusken Raiders and Palpetine are the two main reasons Aniken grew stronger in the dark side. Knowing that his mother was being tortured made his fear and anger grow stronger, and then watching her die just as he arrived only escalated it. Palpetine felt this change in the character of Aniken and used it as an advantage, he manipulated him and his false promises for change and peace were what drove him to become Darth Vader.
