  • I would love to check out Jesse James house and old haunts, what about the Younger ranch or house is that still in existance?

  • I lived in KC and visited the house he was killed in,there was wood cut away from floor where Jess was bleeding. I was told that those wood chips were being sold at $5.00 a piece, and when they had chipped up all the wood with blood on it they actually used chicken blood on the wood chips and just kept on selling them. It is the true home he was killed in,but ya really can't believe anything you here or see on the internet these day's if you did it would make ya a smige crazy. Good Day!

  • Is it the true home from jesse james?

  • Frank Dalton was proven a fraud.

The family has done dna testing on Jesse and Dalton.

I've never been to St.Joseph,MO and i find no records of my ancestors being there ,just 5 generations in IL,but dna testing shows a match to Jesse from my paternal grandmother .

  • In my opinion, the most interesting claim to be J James came from a 100 y/o man called J Frank Dalton of Lawton, OK in 1947. Coincidentally, Frank James also lived near Lawton, OK for some time, owning a farm there until his death. This Dalton man seemed to know lots of unusual things about the James Gang/Quantrill Men. Plus, he was also riddled with bullet holes and scars. Researchers think he was actually "Bud" Dalton, who rode with the James Gang some and was a former Quantrill Man himself.

  • Cool video! There were so many people who claimed to be Jesse James years after the real Jesse was killed. It's interesting to research their stories, but as common sense would tell you, their claims were eventually debunked. One popular claim is that he lived to be 96 and died in Texas under a stolen identity, but that theory was also discredited when DNA evidence from this man's family lineage suggested the identity was never stolen after all. These theories are entertaining, but nothing more.

  • @johnsonconnie34= Yeah, and I'm the Emperor of Mars. Jesse's wife died alone. Don't you think that was a cruel thing to do to her if he faked his death? Not even telling her he was alive? Jesse was killed by Robert Ford. The bad thing Ford did was shoot him in the back. Sorry to break it.

  • @vigo894 His wife was in on it! The whole family knew about it and planned it. This was the only way Jessie was going to be with his wife and raise his children, if you watched the whole story you would know this.

  • I am related to him on my moms moms side I am related to Jesse James

  • @TYLER2010DRUMMER SO AM I SO WE R RELATIVES LMAO I LIVE IN ST JOE LOL

  • jesse james is my great great i dont know how many greats grandpa

  • Hey. Jesse James was an outlaw? my grandpas full name is Jesse James Tosh. woah

  • Jesse lived out his life in peace, his death was faked... been proven. He was way to smart & connected, to turn his back to a scum bag. He eluded the FED's , greedy RR men & bankers,....... longer than anyone in USA history.... You showed them again Jesse. RIP .... YOU WON!

  • I went there a few years ago and since then Iv been wondering this. In the movies Jesse always got on a chair to move the picture on the wall.......either Jesse was short as hell or he never used a chair I dont get it. One more thing I dont know if its true or not. Did Jesse give Bob the gun that killed him? If so then Jesse giving Bob the gun and then laying his holster on the coutch before he got shot infront of Bob.....dont that just say I know your gonna b the one so just do it?

  • i been there a few times

  • Thanks for posting. Very enjoyable.

  • Happy birthday

  • So as I'm reading all these posts seems like 75% of the people here are related to Jesse huh?

  • the only way in the old west times to make money was to be an outlaw id of done the same

  • Thank you

    Paula australia

  • I dont understand why people loved this man so much, he murdered people and robbed from banks wich is against the law and immoral, If it was present day and he did that he would have gotten death penalty, he was a criminal. not a nice guy like you all think

  • I expect some people don't know what a 44 looked like so they put that for the

    tourists.

  • this is great. i like it. i just dont understand y a 44 is on the wall, his old wall without it being his. what i mean is if it was his it would have been awsome. great vid tho

  • Nice video.

I want to see the place in person now.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • They say Jesse just wanted one more robbery and after that to be left alone to

raise his family. He may have been wanted dead or alive, I think Frank was too but

Frank was found not quilty at his trial , they had a lot of friends. Frank used to take

people through the house for 50 cents I think.

  • mave.foorumi.eu

  • dude this vido was sooo amazing.

  • jesse james is my great grandmas cousin

  • my mom just told me that jesse james is my great grandmas cousin... creepy right

  • I think we need "A new Jesse James"! Or may Karl Marx, who was right that the rich man slaves the poor man! Jesse did it for his losts!

In my Eyes he was right!

  • I think we need "A new Jesse James"!

  • Ry Cooder is great!

  • cangoness, shut your fucking nigger mouth up or I'll kill you for him,he is hero to south people and I always hate North, they fucking murder their family plus children and destroy their farmlands, crops ,and animals for what reasons , they want their land and power to put laws over them ,North Government are SICK FUCK!! Fuck them to hell!!Jesse James is best gunfighter and they are pussies to face him haha coward yellow back shit eater!! SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN !!!

  • loser racist james is burning in hell .lol

  • Thanks for putting this video up! It's really cool to see historical things here. I like the photography, and the songs are awesome. Just watched "The Long Riders" last night. GREAT movie! Thanks again, and I hope to make it out to see this stuff someday!

  • faked his death by the way

  • jessie james the racer or some other jessie james

  • that picture is still awful dusty.

  • cool video..i hope i get to visited these places somtime..

  • from outlaw to american hero great ha

  • That revolver is a .44 Duble action, the one used to shoot James was either a .44 American or a .44 russian 3rd model both single actions.

They look similar at first sight but the American or Russian 3rd were single actions and this one they have on the wall is a double action.

  • Visited there twice and it is a great historical treasure. To think they were going to demolish it to put the I 229 there. The residents actually put the house on a truck and transported it to where it is now...Thank God the did!!

  • The first house is the home he last rented and

Bob Ford shot him there. There is some

speculation on the picture. There is one picture

in the museum next to his birthplace with a

bullet hole in it, but I have seen another picture

somewhere else of a different picture.

  • i dont understand why is it he has too graves one at the childhood house and one at the cemtery i went into a store acroose the street today cause im a moron and coun't find it at first they showed me where it was lol and told the guy told me that some Sciencents came and dug him up and they din't know if they put him back is he still there or not??

  • @wrfrock When Jesse James was killed in 1882 his mother was still living on their farm and she had him buried there so she could keep watch over his grave. In 1902 his remains were removed from the original grave and buried in the town cemetery. His mother's health was too poor for her to remain on the farm and she knew his grave would be desecrated if his remains weren't moved. His remains were exhumed, scientifically examined, and reburied in 1995 in the city cemetery.

  • @JettRink50 The real Picture he was dusting does mot have a bullet hole in it and it ia at the Kearney Farm This Picture at the Saint Joseph home is not the one he was dusting when shot. This however is the real bullet hole . Niether Picture has a hole as the bullet went through his head and into the wall missing the picture.

  • Does the picture he was dusting when he was shot still exist somewhere?

  • OMG, i would LOVE to go there and visit that house sometime if i ever get a chance to get down that way,

    i live in Baltimore Maryland,

far from anything remotely Jesse James related but he was a hero to me!! =D

  • I've been there. Awesome video ! --:)Rod

  • i wud love to visit dere.. it is defo a must be4 i die...

  • another must before you die is to type and speak proper english

  • ha good1 how bout u go die u fukin loser

  • how about you go to school.

  • I'm going to visit

  • come scoop me up too when u do go. I live n s.c.holla

  • there is nothing to it

  • my grandparents were from southern missouri and used to tell us grandkids that we was related to these old time outlaws the James Bros....I think if i was alive in the old days i'd probably join a gang of highwaymen too.

  • @grasscat1977 haha very funny!!

  • Hello I am Jesse James!

  • @grasscat1977 my grandma says that me and my brother are related to him too!!

  • @katiehongolarox well goddamn i reckon that makes us family :) cheers from idaho

  • @katiehongolarox Old people say a lot of shit

  • @grasscat1977 Im kin to Jesse and Frank's stepbrother the one who got killed in the bomb at their mother's farm.

  • @preacherp1995 If I had one dollar for everyone Ive heard say they where related to J & F James , Id be a billionaire.

  • @grasscaat1977 Guess that means you were related to their stepfather. : )

  • @cengle54 All I know is we were married into the family

  • @preacherp1995 Sorry to hear that. Archie was so dumb that he had mistaken a stick of dynamite for a fire log and put it into the fireplace.... Not the best genes in that pool...

  • @Collani actually they put it in the fire place to try to get it away from Archie and the mother but it didnt work.

  • its a shame to see them fly a federal flag outside his home.

  • I agree, he stood for everything that was against it, and now, brainwashed people have the nerve to fly that rag outside. If you knew who Jesse James was, you wouldn't fly a damn Yankee flag outside of his house, cause you would get your ass shot in a heart beat!!!

  • i know. him and his whole gang would have shot it down off the damn pole! i watched this video again and at the end of the video it shows a confederate flag on his grave. its kinda confusing to have one on his grave but have the flag of the men who shot him and his brothers outside his home.

  • Not only that, but it's disrespectful as well. He hated that flag and did all he could to defeat it. That's reality! I think that if people didn't want to be controversial, or were afraid of vandalism or accusations of racism (people are scared that for some reason) - they should fly the old First National Stars and Bars then. Jesse would not be pleased if he was seeing that flag there. Honestly, don't take a genius to see that, right?

  • yes, it's very disrespectful not only to him but his whole gang and also the hundreds of brave Confederate soldiers who fought and died with Jesse. i myself feel like there should be a strong petition to remove the federal flag at his home and put a Confederate flag. thats like us flying a Confederate flag at Gen. Grants house!

  • LOL, nice comparison, could you believe the media repercussion if there was a Confederate flag there, or let's say, a Confederate flag on top of Lincoln's grave?!

  • if they found ole Dixie on top of Lincolns grave they would call him a traitor which he was everything in the book in my opinion. he was so racist till he'd fuck you if you were walkin down the street after coal mining. yep, if ole Jesse could come back he'd put the dick back in Dixie lol.

  • it's confusing to me when everybody says Jesse James was a wild west hero but he hated those western, eastern, northern blue bellys. he was a real Souhron hero and by the grace of God he still is in Alabama! RIP Jesse. The South will rise again! DEO VINDICE

  • It's history, you can't change it. no matter how much people would like to, it's there to learn from.

  • nevermind, i though you wrote Confederate flag. Sorry.

  • why the hell would you think i wrote confederate flag when there is no confederate flag flying? bless your heart, maybe santa can bring you a reading book. if im right you probaby need a real history book to go with it if the Confederate flag offends you.

  • Missouri was like most politicians are now, in the Middle, maybe that's why they don't put a confederate flag up. It's like that scene from "The Outlaw Josey Whales" The ferry man sings a Union song on one side and as he gets to the other, he sings dixie. I really thought your post said confederate. I can't say why.

  • thats where your wrong. maybe parts of missouri was in the middle but the part where Jesse lived they called it little Dixie because they supported Southern Independence so strongly. what is disrespectful is to have Jesse's home a museum to show ppl today what the man lived and stood for and he most certantly stood for everything against the federal flag. btw the man on Josey wales sings the union song when the union soldiers are present because he was a coward.

  • I live in St Joseph

  • I do not know about this stuff. My father's name was Jesse. He died in 1964. I think that there only a few people that can pull the trigger. Perhaps with the 82 and the 101st in Vietnam in Vietnam, I can pull that trigger.

  • Did Jessie James hideout in Southwestern Ontario Canada? There is a lot of rumours to that effect. The Hotel in Harley Ont (Brant County) that is presently a house.South of the Hamlet of Kelvin a house or some kind of structure.

  • Thank you for posting this vid, hope to see them myself someday

  • Strange, I love the Arch and I guessed there

were already plenty of videos on it, so I didn't

make one. My Dad used to play guitar and sing

that song when I was a kid.

  • the home is now at the patee house museum in st. Joseph mo right up the street from the pony express museum I used to live in st. joe pony express and jesse james are stuck in your head and they rarely talk about the st. louis arch

  • But do you know what the picture's painting was?

  • it was of a horse

  • I know in the Movie it was , but in real life it was also?

  • that's what my jesse james book tells me :)

  • ahhh genius =D

  • No, that probably was stolen because people

ransacked the house for souvenirs, but I don't

really know, it may still be in the family.

  • Im pretty sure its in Kearney MO

  • @JettRink50 It is its at the Kearney Farm

  • Hey is the picture he used to dust then got killed still there?

  • Actually the Picture and the duster he had in his hand are I believe both at his mothers home in Kearney I know I saw the duster there anyway. That is a Great Museum there.

  • Sorry can I make a question?

But JJHollywood is died???? Or not??

Plz answer me, in italian if its possible!

  • no,non e morto e in prigione adesso

  • the hole in the wall is it coz they search for the bullet no one steal pieces of wall

  • The bullet hole in the wall isn't unfortunately what it was originally. At the time it was but a very small hole, but over the years tourists kept stealing bits and pieces from it. That's why the hole is now framed.

  • This house is 2 blocks from me over on Penn Street :))

  • Watching a biography is not learning much about

the person, they change so much to make it

more dramatic. Look at Wyatt Earp, known as

a sheriff when he was probably more on the

    outlaw side.

  • Jesse and his family were tortured by the

Union soldiers, his step father was hung so I

can see where all the anger came from.

  • He shot quite a few unarmed people in the back and caused a lot of misery, so what goes around comes around. Hollywood has built him into some sort of honourable Western hero, but he was a cold blooded killer. Unfortunately Bob Ford has made him into a martyr in some people's eyes who dont know the facts and Hollywood has distorted the facts. The Tyrone Power film is pure fantasy. The Brad Pitt film is getting closer to the truth.

  • was the picture at 00:42, the actual picture jesse was dusting off when bob ford shot him? becasue it looks like there is a bullet hole in it.

  • The house where he was killed was moved a few

blocks, it was actually outside the city of

St. Joseph at the time and much bigger, but they

couldn't move it all. Someone thought they would

get more visitors if it was moved into the

city. I doubt anything is original inside, just like today, people wanted something from

a famous person and the place was looted.

The place where he was born is pretty much

original except they had to put new siding on

    it.

  • Is the Jesse James house really Haunted?

  • hi i like all the wild west stories. i like reading up about billy the kid , wyatt earp and jesse james and things like that. can somebody tell me if this house is exactly how it was back when jesse james lived in it? and are the photos on the wall the exact ones? p.s i watched the assissination of jesse james by the coward robert ford the other day lol. funny title but the acting in the film was very good

  • he's my fourth cousin. he's my great grandmums 1st cousin. that generation of family was ashamed of him

  • No one lives in either house.

  • That dude who builds motorcycles lives in this dump?

  • lol yes

  • The bad become a history

  • dammit if FRANK JAMES WAS WITH HIM OR THE YOUNGER BROTHERS... THOSE 2 COWARD SUM BITCHES WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE REMOVED THEIR GUNS FROM THEIR HOLSTERS... FUCK BOB & CHARLEY FORD... LONG LIVE THE JAMES YOUNGER GANG

  • Shizz crazy yo... Tight vid

  • I betcha hs's dead now,we know people don't live this long..

  • if course, he died 1882

  • long live jesse wish I could have rode with him I would have killed bob and charlie myself.

  • Almost as good as being there.. ty

  • fuck that! just the song alone makes this video worth watching. nice post!!!

  • Its an ok vidio

    383

  • It is Jesse for sure. They did DNA on him and

    a descendent in 1995.

  • well they did do DNA but the guy in the first casket was charlie begelo that looks very much like him.

  • we still dont know who he is because some people said he faked his death to run away to Texas...... Which theres another tombstone saying jesse james ......and when they got done with the robbery he went inside his house and saw the picture crooked and while his friend sat there he waited till jesse went up to fix the picture and shot him.... but still some people say that he faked his death some how and we dont know who he is or where is he

  • I heard the same thing. My great grandfather ran with Jessie a lot. He and both of my grandfathers, who lived in Missouri all their lives, laughed and swore that Jessie didn't die in that shooting. They said that another family member that resembled Jessie was killed and buried there. They also said that Jessie hid out in some caves in Missouri after being shot but didn't die until years later. Bits of that same story were told in old letters we found in the barn of a family member in Missouri.

  • Yeah, because his body that looked JUST like Jesse James that was photographed and laid out on tour was the fake Jesse James - Give me a break.

No offense to your grandfathers I am sure to them that was the truth but Legends Die Hard. Jesse James died in that shooting and there's no denying it. It's a nice thought to some to think he lived because it lets people deny there mortality a bit more.

  • Besides Jesse loved the attention he got from gunslinging. It's why he did not settle down when Frank went off and quit. Jesse needed to be back out there fighting the war that never ended for him - Jesse James would not go curl up in a cave for years and die later on.

You live by the gun, you die by the gun. Jesse would of been honored to go out the way he did. Saying he was living in caves makes him sound as Bob Ford killing him infront of his wife and children.

  • Jesse James is dead?

  • Really???????

  • They don't say if it's the original picture,

probably not. The bullet hole is huge with

souvenir hunters taking a piece out to take

    home.

  • Is that the picture where Bob killed him? Thats the picture the bullet crush?

  • is st.joseph,MO nice city?

i have to go there this winter...

    :)

  • lol wrong jesse james retard lol

  • lagend....

  • is there an album available with this song on it???where did you get it to put on the vid?

  • The music is provided by Ry Cooder.

  • This guy's awsome!!!

they have to let him out

the movie alhpa dog is the best movie that i ever seen!!!!!!!

  • r u fuckin retarded wrong jesse james u dumb fuck

  • Jesse didn't say anything as to what he was about to do to the bank collector. The next day the boy's rides off and runs into the collector and kills him and takes the money to the old ladie without her knowing they were there. She finds it and give God her thanks. This is all true that I know of. So, please, don't pick on what you don't know!

  • What is the name of the group that sings the Ballad of Jesse James?????? thay are GREAT !!!!! the insterments sound like period insterments!!!

  • I can't remember what foothill's it was where Jesse and another stoped at this old ladie's house for some to eat and sleep. Well, here's what happened. There was this man who worked for the bank who was ripping this ladie off who's husban had died leaving her alone. Well, she was so nice and kind as to help the two boy's out having as little for hersafe to get by on. She had told the storie to the boy's about the death of her love one.

  • he steal everything..nothing in the house for him...nothing belong to him even his grave..i don't why the government didn't give a behest to hang him from his penis??

  • mmmm

  • But don't you think it was all useless since

after that Frank James gave himself up and was

freed and never went back to bank robbing.

  • Bod Ford in my opinion was a gutless coward, waiting till Jesse laid his pistols on the bed and was not armed to adjust a picture, drawing the hammer back of the .44 revolver, and blowing Jesse's brains out with his back turned and not even Jesse not even armed. Not that Jesse was a Saint, but he was assisinated, in a ploy set up by the Governor, to give freedom to Bob Ford and reward monies.

  • the real heroe was Bob Ford, he just kill a murder and bank robery, there where a reward dead or alive for the one who kill this bandit of Jesse James

  • Bob Ford was a coward piece of shit, and so is anyone that thinks shooting an unarmed man in the back is good.

  • nope nope noo my friend Bob Ford didnt kill an unarmed man he kill an unarmed dangerous murder killler and bank robery this country mus apreciate the efort to those who liberate this nation and kill this unrespectaable kind of predators and outlaw and inocent bank clerk kilers like this Jesse James

  • you say:"who liberate this nation"...i think that's wierd, because it stands on your'e youtube profile that your'e in Mexico...aren't you?...

Bob Ford was a killer himself, and a bank robber...so he is as quilty as Jesse James!

    (I agree with you rctrue!!)

  • the nick I get from yahoo mexico I m ay El Paso, bob made a deal with thw Misouri state governor read carefully if you read some about U.S. history O>K can recomend ~~these United States as one of best USA HISTORY text O, yeaa

  • Well, didn't Jesse James shoot allot of unarmed men in the back. Actually he assisted in shooting about 150 unarmed men in the head.

  • kokallan12345-

what? Who the hell told you that fairy-tale?

150 men - thats a-plenty, and in the head? Getting a headshot in was pretty hard & still is. Trust me.

Sorry, but someone has been making fun of you.

  • Didn't Jesse James also kill many unarmed innocent men. Actually he assisted in killing 150 unarmed men.

  • horse?

  • I wish the home that he lived in in Kentucky was still standing, all that is there is a historical marker naming it.

  • Earp was supposed to be such a hero, but when

you read about him, about as bad as the bad

guys, though he was one of the few left who

lived long enough to write his own version of

everything and even saw the first western

    portraying him.

  • In response to those who say that shooting a man in the back is cowardly, that era was full of back-shooters. Most of your lesser-known lawmen and and outlaws would shoot people in the back. Most of that "code of the west" stuff comes from Hollywood. Personally, I like the Earp's style: Grabbing the bad guy's own gun and clubbing him over the head with it.

  • Yes, I'd say thats probably right though Jesse's

present day family want to believe he did all

this good stuff. I met Jesse's great grandson,

he's a member of the James Gang, he is a lawyer,

in fact the whole family is full of lawyers.

  • Gee u talk shit. what's his great grandsons' name?

  • Just the truth. His great grandson's name is

    James Ross.

  • James Ross is dead champ!

  • Not only that, he was an 80 year old supreme court judge. obviously not alot of time to talk to twits like u!

  • Sorry you do not deserve an answer for your

    foul language.

  • Twit isn't foul u goose. jaagro agrees you're a shit spinner.

  • He never 'stole from the rich and gave to the poor'... not a hero at all. Just a legend and a likable bad guy.

  • Jesse James was a hero aswell as a legend. Im glad Robert Ford got what he deserved, fucking coward.

  • How was he a hero when he killed ppl and robbing banks? Just wondering...

  • He was a modern day Robin Hood. He was able to lead a double life, which is difficult. People were afraid of him. Look at how they honor him after he was deceased.

  • inflames44467-

It is really in the history books. Both killing in wars and during time of what maybe/maybe not could be called peace might

be called justified by some. Bank robbing, too! I'd say NO to the killings, but robbing a bank is fine by me. And even an outlaw is capable of heroic deeds. It is as simple as that.

Please remember the situation, the hatred after Dixie lost etc. I think you'll find info if you want. OK?

  • Thank you very much for making all this clearer to me. Greatly appreciated. :)

  • He didnt get killed himself, he killed himself, was sucide.

  • The Wood Hite theory was debunked. Jesse was shit and killed by Bob Ford. End of story.

  • Shoot a man in the back makes you a coward for sure

  • two of his partners in crime didnt stand him up they both lived with him for awhile, but jesse had found out about robert betraying him and when jesse got on a chair to dust a picture robert shot him in the back of his head right by his ear just like the coward he is...and robert only got some of the 10,000 reward for killing jesse but was sentences to be hanged and got out of it right away

  • like the coward he is. i may have shot him to if he was goin to kill me.He was not a nice man and not to be toyed with

  • Yes, but what if he went to trial instead?

Frank never was convicted, no one would

    testify against him.

  • two of jesse james partners in crime sit him up and in a room thay whet into jesse lad his gun on the bed and that shot him for money on his wanted paper
