first a guy named ortaga was selling dangerous bullets so he faked his death by having a nother fed that was working on the case shoot him. he had armor and a fake blood patch. wolf got the message its done so he could get farther in the plot

a guy ortaga hired was going to shoot him but when haratio faked it he told ortaga its done so ortaga let his guard done and got caught

He survives, think about it... He stood there waiting and he had a slight look of fear in his eyes before he was shot. He took off his glasses which were at his chest and I am guessing he had a bullet proof vest on underneath.
