The FDA tries every year to amend the "food pyramid" to state that if Americans want to be healthier, the key is to eat less meat. The meat industry lobbyists successfully prevent it every year, in spite of the fact that we know the amounts of meat eaten are detrimental to the public's health. Multiple groups have published proof how eating less meat will also be better for the environment and reduce global warning. It's time to realize what a bad idea meat is and severely decrease consumption.

It is food... I am always amazed how many people want to forget this fact. If you wish not to eat meat, that is fine, I will not tease you or make you evil. For those of us who enjoy the food the good Lord gave us, might I ask you to keep your opinions to yourself as well.

As for the "Ugly fat Americans" Well, lets just say that junk food like twinkees do not graze on farms. Healthy food is a balance of both.

They should discuss them with others until the subject has been thoroughly explored and those who formerly had differing opinions now share one opinion.
