@cathymcmen this is what i asked myself too ;) learn by myself or look for a teacher? my problem with piano teachers is that i had only one who teached me piano the way i liked it. the others couldn't. it was more like going to school, i didn't like it :( except for that one guy. but is it really necessary to gain a piano skill like Arkton only by having a teacher?

4 small mistakes at 1:28 and 1:30. Another at 1:43 but its the exact same notes he uses earlier, small 1 note misser at 1:59. It is still beautifully played i wish i could lol but my hands dont follow my ears.

But you rushed the climatic section a bit....however you said you got caught up at that point....and that explains why you played the piece so well, you had emotion for the piece, which any pianist would say is one of the most important things for playing the piano.

i think he syncs the recording on the piano with the audio from the camera then edits to make it sound good/eliminate stuff like white noise. or he just uses the recording made on the piano. but don't quote me on that.

I don't know what notes you are talking about, and I don't know for sure. However, I'm pretty sure, almost absolutely sure that nothing was changed. I'm learning this song and it is pretty much spot on. Perhaps these are accidentals? Or you didn't read your key signature? Everything is flat.. Not insulting you... But you may not be learning the right notes, best to nip it in the bud.
