@loseridiot02 To get it imported, check out play asia.  to play it on an north american PS2 either mod chip it, cog swap it or swap magic (swap magic being the one that costs money)

@yondaimegenesis modchip means you can burn the disc, so you only pay for the chip. cogswap uses stuff you should already have, the only thing you might not have is an original PS1 disc(if you got rid of all yours... I keep all of mine, it's my treasure! I love it!) and swap magic is the most expensive. modchip is more expensive if you get someone else to do it for you though lol

cuz since disney is an american company we created kingdom hearts with the help of japanese square enix companies so it was naturally english and subtitled for japan and all foreign places

By words, do you mean the subtitles and the scenes that have no voice work? Then yes. All voices are in English, all text is in Japanese. Like I said, the Japanese prefer the English voice acting.

Actually, you use the healing items on the Grand Ghost. The better the item, the more damage.

Although it makes sense. The ghost is undead. Normally an Elixir would most likely kill the undead since healing undead damages them.

A Phoenix Down is a better choose. But since they don't exist in Kingdom Hearts X potion would do the trick.
