very relaxing, but the sound quality ain't so good. while listening to this, i suddenly realized how sad it is we people are closed down in our houses, submerged by buildings in our cities, and we've lost the physical link with nature, and often not only the physical one. it is so sad we've to listen to a recording to listen the sound of nature... it is weird... sick.

It can be frustrating not being able to satisfy our instincts, but it's not that bad when you think about it. Nature kind of bullies us whenever we try to live there. It's just as much part of our instinct to congregate in cities as it is to appreciate the sound and smell of nature. Not that we shouldn't do both. You should trying as much nature into your house as possible. Plants, natural sunlight. And definitely take as many vacations in or near the wilderness as you can.

I live in Alaska and have been around some AMAZING moments in nature. That being said, when I'm swamped with homework and it's only 20 degrees outside, I'm going to sit in my room, turn on some nice nature ambient sound. But yes, I do agree that there are quite a few people out there in very urban cities that have lost their connection with nature.

Lovely in its "apparent" simplicity... There is just something very purifying and rejuvinating about naturally flowing water.

About music, I once posted a silent slideshow about Berlin (and it was expressly meant to be silent) & all comments suggested I put some music to it... Being silent, anyone can put their favourite song behind it (if they want). But of course everyone expecteted me to choose the theme for them...

If I had included music, I guess they would've all critisised it...
